"Are you sure this wine is okay?" a very nervous Anna asks her boyfriend.
They've just arrived at Kieran's and Sophie's house and Anna asked questions the whole ride. She really wants to make a good impression on the other girl. From the stories she heard of Martin Anna knows that everyone on his team loves Sophie.
"Yes babe, Sophie likes everything, as long as it contains alcohol," Martin smiles and he places his hands on Anna's arms.
"Everything is going to be fine kjære,"
"I hope so," the blonde girl whispers.
Her boyfriend puts his arm around her waist and reassuringly strokes her side, before ringing the bell. It in the few seconds it takes Sophie or Kieran to answer the door, Martin quickly places a kiss on Anna's cheek to give her some support.
The door opens and a smiling Sophie answers the door. "Hey Martin!" she greets the Norwegian boy excited. "And you must be Anna, I'm so happy to meet you," Sophie pulls the other girl in a hug, taking Anna by surprise.
When Sophie let's go of Anna, the blonde hands her the bottle of wine she brought. The older girl accepts it with a twinkle in her eyes. "Tell me why you've kept her hidden all this time Martin?" she grins.
Martin smiles innocently, but Kieran appears next to Sophie before he can answer. "Are you going to let our guests stand outside bonnie?" The Scotsman drapes an arm around his girlfriend's waist "Hey Martin and Anna," he greets the couple with a smile.
"Of course not babe, the only one I'd leave outside is you if you keep making fun of my cooking," Sophie grins sweetly, making Martin and Anna laugh. "Come in,"
Everyone walks inside the house and Martin lingers a bit behind to talk to his teammate. "I thought she wasn't going to cook," he whispers quietly, so the Welsh girl doesn't hear.
"I know, but she wanted to give it a try and there was no stopping her, you know how she is," Kieran answers. "Does Anna know about Sof's cooking skills?"
"I already prepared her, but we didn't know she was going to be thrown in front of the lions immediatly,"
"I'm sorry," Kieran sighs. "I hope it'll turn out better than we think,"
Meanwhile they have arrived and Martin takes a seat next to his girlfriend, while Sophie pours some drinks. Martin drops a hand on Anna's knee and places a soft kiss on her knees. "It'll be alright," he whispers in her ear.
Sophie notices the action. "You guys look so great together!" she says.
