Martin helps his girlfriend get out of the car. Her hands are shaking and the nerves are clear on her face.
"Don't be nervous, if we're lucky only Emile and Bukayo will be here already," he tries to reassure her while pressing a soft kiss on her cheek. "They'll probably be helping their girlfriend's with the flowers."
They round the corner to the church. Martin groans internally when he spots the whole team already standing in front of the church.
All the heads turn towards the newly arrived couple and Ben puts his hand out towards Bukayo, who gets a tenner out of his pocket and hands it to Ben with a big sigh.
"She exists!" Aaron proclaims. Laura, his girlfriend, tries to calm him down. "Love, you're scaring her off."
"Hi lads," Martin greets them, ignoring Aaron. "This is Anna, my girlfriend." He puts a hand on her back to reassure her.
Everyone greets her enthousiastically, making Anna relax a bit. Afterwards Ben steps forward. "So Tottenham aye? Care to share some tactics," he grins.
Anna chuckles and gestures Ben to come closer. "Actually," she whispers in his ear. "I have none,"
Ben groans loudly, making the others laugh. Martin is smiling too, he's glad the lads are so accepting of his girlfriend.
