VIII. cheater

a couple days later we left to go back to LA. we packed up everything, giving away some of madisons baby stuff and some of it delivered to drews apartment in LA."i thought of a new a song" i told drew as we sat on the couch "really whats it about" he asked as he fed the baby "i wrote it with maddie in my mind. shes brought so much joy to my life that i had too" i explained "can i hear it" drew asked "yeah sure im going to the studio tomorrow to record it how about you come along with me" i said "yeah of course i'll come" he smiled. the rest of the day we chilled at the apartment.

a few days later

maddie and bails asked if i wanted to hang out with them and also bring madison with me. i agreed to going. we spent the day shopping, the girls spoiling madison woth so many clothes and toys, and just having some girl time. after the long day out we finally arrived back at the apartment. "hey we're-" i started when i unlocked the door, i saw drew on the couch kissing some blonde girl "oh" i sighed as tears formed in my eyes "drew pulled away "issy this isn't what it looks like i promise" he defended his self "no shut up i dont want to hear it. me and madison are gonna stay somewhere else. i'll pick up our stuff tomorrow just make sure your not in because i really dont wanna see you right now" i said walking out of the apartment "issy let me explain" he triesd stopping me "no drew i dont need to here your explanation i can see exactly what was going on i dont need a fucking explanation from you. this has happened before and i was too dumb to think the same thing would happen again at least this time it isn't my best friend. we're done" i said before turning around.

i was gonna go to rudys apartment but he was spending time with elaine today so i didn't wanna get in their way so i went to austins instead. i knocked in his door and he answered "hey- oh are you ok" his smile dropped seeing my tear stained face "can we stay here for a while" i asked "yeah sure what happened" austin stepped to the side letting me in with madisons stroller "drew was kissing someone when i walked into the apartment so i left" i told him "he's fucking stupid" austin hugged me "i hate that was too blind to see that it was gonna happen again im so fucking stupid" i cried "no your not your one of the smartest people i know" austin told me "im not because if i was this wouldn't of happened again" i said "you are smart drews the dumb one for even a) going along with the kiss or b) kissing whoever it was on his own accord" austin said "i mean i guess your right. he promised he'd never do this but he lied" i sighed "look its late why don't you go sleep in my room we can talk more in the morning and it yeah" the boy suggested "i cant take your room i'll sleep on the couch its fine" i declined his offer "issy you have a three month old baby your best of having the bed" he said "austin we're fine go take your room" i said "nope not having it go to my room and sleep" austin said "fine i'll take the room but your slso sleeping in the bed i cant have you sleeping on the couch in your own apartment thats just rude" i said "im fine on the couch". i gave austin a look "damn you really got that mom look down already" he chuckled "come on lets go to bed" i said as i got madison out her stroller. austin followed behind as we walked into his room. "im gonna quickly get changed for bed then i'll change her. could you hold her for like 5 minutes" i asked austin "yeah, do you need any clothes for yourself" he asked me taking the small baby out my arms "no we went shopping today and i brought some pyjamas" i said "ok" he nodded.

i got changed into my pyjamas in the bathroom. when i walked out austin was sitting on the bed with madison in his arms "i changed her for you" he smiled as he handed me madison who was wearing a pink onesie "aw thanks" i smiled back. "shit i dont have anywhere to put her to sleep in" i muttered "she has a carry cot right" i nodded "yeah but its at drews" "its fine i can get it" austin got out of the bed and walked out of the apartment.

austins pov

i cant believe what drew to issy. she doesn't deserve that, she loved him with everything she had in her and he fucked it all, even after knowing what max did. i knocked on drews apartment door. "hey bro you alright" he asked as he opened the door revealing me on the other side. i dont know what got into me but my fist collided with his face "what the fuck bro" drew hissed, rubbing the side of his face "you're a fucking dick you know that" i punched him again "you fucking broke her heart even after knowing all the shit she went through" at this point drew was also fighting me "she didn't even give me chance to explain what happened, if she did this wouldn't be happening" he fought back. i knocked drew to the floor then i remembered what i came for. i walked to the room and picked up madisons carry cot and grabbed a bag throwing a few of her things in before leaving drew in his apartment groaning in pain.

issys pov

austin walked back into his room face and knuckles bleeding "shit what the fuck happened" i whisper shouted "nothing heres her bed" he put up madisons bed putting some blankets in there aswell "come to the bathroom" i dragged him into his bathroom after laying the baby down. "was this drew" i asked as i looked for a first aid kit "to be fair i did start it" he shrugged "why would you do that" i asked as he sat on the toilet seat "i hated seeing you the way you were when you came to my apartment" he told me as i stood inbetween is legs "you didn't have to do that you know" i said swiping a cloth over his forehead. austin hissed in pain "sorry" i apologised "its ok don't worry" he softly smiled "if it hurts again squeeze my thigh" i told him "i dont wanna hurt you" austin said "i pushed out a human nothing can hurt more than that i dont think" i said making him laugh. i then wiped the cloth over his lip that was also cut. after i put a band aid on his forehead i moved onto his knuckles "dont do anything stupid like that again ok" i looked at him "i wont" he promised.

i packed the first aid kit away and placed it back under the sink. "issy" austin said "mhm" i turned round. he grabbed my face in his hands before placing his lips on mine. with out thinking i melted into the kiss. my arms going around his neck as he lifted me up onto the bathroom counter. suddenly madison started to cry causing us to pull away. i hopped of the counter and walked into check on her "hey baby girl" i cooed "you hungry" i asked even though i wouldn't get a reply. i quickly made her a bottle of milk. when it was ready i started feeding her. "issy im sorry" austin apologised when i walked into his room "its ok it was a heat of the moment thing" i shrugged it off "no it really wasn't ive wanted to do that for the longest time and i thought now you and drew aren't together anymore maybe i could shoot my shot and i know that sounds selfish and hes also my best friend thats why im apologising" "austin its fine seriously" i told him "it shouldn't be though" he sighed "will holding madison make you happy" i smiled at him "she makes everyone happy and you seem like you need cheering up" i continued "thank you" he smiled as i handed over madison "hey mads" he smiled down at the infant in his arms. she smiled back at him. "shes adorable" austin exclaimed. i laid my head on his shoulder "she is isnt she"

please dont kill me!! i hate that i did what i did so dont come at me im already fighting myself in my head bc of what i did. next chapter maybe we might have issy and drew back idk. also idk where the austin and issy moment came from just deal with it please.
