There you stood, at the front of Gon's house, with a woman that only wore her underwear and Gon's shirt. Gon's shirt. "Who are you?" She hissed as she had just woken up, looking at you like you were the problem. "I-I..." You were so shocked and conflicted you couldn't say anything.
"Hey Butterfly, who's at the door?"
Gon's voice rang out as he approached where the two of you were. Butterfly; that was the nickname Gon gave you when you first got together, 2 years ago. Gon put an arm around the woman and kissed her lips tenderly, right in front of you. When he looked up, his eyes widened and his mouth dropped.
"F-F/n...?"
He didn't call you 'F/N-chan' like usual, so you knew he didn't love you anymore. But why...? For two years you had been a couple and nothing had gone wrong! Then he just... gets a new girl and forgets about you?
On your 21st birthday?
"G-Gon- who is she...?" You tried to stop the stuttering but the sobs weren't far behind from coming as well. "Who is she?" Really? Gon, baby, I'm gonna go shower, take care of whatever this is and... join me?" She had a cheeky smirk spread along her lips as she spoke.
"Yeah, sure..."
She walked away after giving you one last glare, leaving the two of you alone.
Your heart felt as if it were about to break, maybe this is a misunderstanding! Right?
"Please Gon, tell me what's going on," you pleaded with him, stepping closer. Gon looked uncomfortable but said it anyway.
"She's my girlfriend."

That was it, your heart broke.
"W-What? Gon why, did I do something wrong? Please tell me so I can make it better, why are you doing this?" The tears now came and were falling down your face; you were losing him.
"I... would rather not talk about it," and with that, he closed the door. You stood there frozen, unable to move. You felt like you were dying at this point now. Your heart felt so empty and cold in your chest, your hand went to touch the door. Your other hand covered your mouth as a whimper of sorrow slipped out.
You couldn't breathe, your lungs felt narrow and small, so oxygen couldn't get through. "Gon!" You sobbed, knocking on his door in the hope he would open it again. "Gon, please! I'm so sorry for what I did, just please explain to me what is happening!"
