CHAPTER 10 - Pandemic

**Date- December 28th 2021**

~Florida POV~

I woke up this morning, and tried to get that darn jetpack to work again. I saw Ariz coming out of his room, and I FREAKED OUT!!! His skin was a light black color and he was absolutely COVERED in that black goo...I didn't see Colo at all yesterday, and I still hadn't seen him for a while, until lunch. I slammed my room door shut and locked it, escaping my room from the zipline.

Entering the kitchen through the vent again, I panted a lot and Zordon asked what was going on. I was so tired from running that I only was able to get out a loud yell: "ARIZ IS COVERED IN BLACK GOO AND HIS SKIN IS BLACK!!!"

Zordon's face went completely blank and pale, like he was nervous, anxious, or embarrassed, and he bolted up the stairs at light speed. It wasn't long before I heard a loud scream coming out of his mouth, "I'VE GOT A VIRUS! I'VE GOT A DAMN VIRUS, SOMEONE DO SOMETHING PLEASE!!!!"

"What's wrong?!" I asked.

"That black goo...IT'S ALL OVER MY HANDS AND ARIZ CALLED ME 'ONE OF HIS KIND!!!!!'"

Jersey poked her head out of the pantry and screamed like we were all going to die. "ZORDON! YOU'RE GONNA INFECT EVERYONE!!! GRAB ARIZ AND HIDE SOMEWHERE!"

Montana sat there and ate his bear.
"Where's Colo?" he asked.
"Right here," Colo announced, walking into the room. About half of his body was black, and as soon as he came in, we could literally see the rest of his skin becoming black. "AAAAAAAH!" Zordon screamed. "IT'S THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE!!!!"

Zordon ran around the house screaming like a maniac, which is not normally something he does. Ariz came downstairs and said, "Hello, Florida."

I gasped, grabbing Jersey's hand and running out the door. Jersey grabbed Montana on the way and I led them to the forest, and we escaped to the tree base.

~Arizona POV~

I can't believe I actually infected Colo instead of Zordon with the chair...but it still worked anyway! HAH!

Now I've got both Colo and Zordon infected, even though I'm pretty sure Zordon hasn't got the mind part of it yet...but who cares, they can help me infect people now!

FLORI IS NEXT...

Ah! I woke up this morning and I couldn't control myself! It's almost like I was Psycho Zordon! I could control my hands and legs, but I had to listen to this voice in my head that told me to do inhumane things that were so wrong...like putting my goo on Zordon's arm, and putting it on Zordon's chair, and all over Pizza's old room. I...can't explain it.

~Florida POV~

Jersey, Montana and I were trying to find a plan to get rid of this virus. But it was no use when we didn't know what caused it and what all of the symptoms are.... We don't even know how it spreads. How on earth are we going to deal with another freaking thing slowing us down? Honestly, I'm thinking of running away but I kind of don't want to leave Montana and Jersey to possibly get infected. I mean, I can't really do much because I'm only 6...

**Date- December 29th 2021**

~Zordon POV~

Hello, It's Zordon here. I woke up today and when I left my room, I realized chaos was happening. It looked like Ariz was almost going on a rampage of what looked like touching and coughing on people... for some reason? I was looking around the house and I noticed Colorado was covered in black goo that was the same one in the lab and then I looked at Ariz and I saw something terrifying... the right half of Ariz's body was completely covered in black goo and it looked like it was spreading to other people, then I realized... If Ariz's black goo could spread, then... I looked down at my hands and I noticed they were completely covered in black goo, I was freaking out because I didn't know what symptoms the black goo could cause and then Flori woke up, he was shocked and he ran outside with Jersey and Montana and he didn't realize Montana was infected because he rushed outside so fast I couldn't warn him. Unfortunately they will realize too late. And then I realized there are sometimes random thoughts in my head that give me tendencies to touch people? I then began thinking about what this virus is trying to do but I was lost trying to come to a conclusion...
