*Just a disclaimer to anyone who reads this. I have no previous writing experience and if you cringe I'm sorry lol!

Just trying out something new and I would appreciate feedback if there are mistakes in the writing.

I plan to do weekly uploads, however, idk how strictly I will follow this plan. This is just for fun and I don't want to put too much pressure on myself.

Anyways, show me mercy and have fun reading

Also the image at the top is what I would imagine her apartment to look like. Simple, cute, perfect for a girl who loves being alone.*

"I want her out of my house!", I heard the faint screams of my Aunt Clarissa.

And as her booming high pitched voice echoed down the hall, I wanted nothing more than to crawl into myself, to disappear and be invisible. It wasn't unlike Aunt Clarissa, after a few glasses of wine get testy and try to start fights with my Uncle or me.

"That little rat has done nothing but be a brat since the moment she got here!"

I hear my Aunt's screams again as I'm curled up in bed, sheets over my head, trying to reduce the sounds of her high pitch screams.

"Always leaving her stuff around, begging for money to go out with her friends, STEALING, she is ungrateful!"

I can hear the mutterings of the two of them down the hall. When their voices begin to pick up again, it's not just the voice of my Aunt but I hear the faint voice of my Uncle Bobby, trying to calm her down.

"Clarissa" he sneers, "I don't know what you want from me? She's my brother's kid, I can't just kick her out." he said quietly, his tone giving off the impression that he's praying that I'm not hearing any of this.

"That's exactly what we can do." She says bluntly.

"She's almost 18, she can handle herself. Maybe moving out will give her some sense of God-damned responsibility for once!" I flinch back at her piercing voice and take in a shaky breath.

I begin to hear approaching footsteps towards my bedroom door and my heart begins to race. I pull the covers further over my head. She can't be doing this to me, my Uncle would never agree. He loved me right? Or was I just a burden like Aunt Clarissa so bluntly stated not even 5 minutes ago and every day since I've moved into this house. As doubt begins to take over my thoughts, I have to remind myself that he is family. He loves me and not to mention I was only a kid! He wouldn't let this happen to me.

I hear again the voice of Uncle Bobby, "Clarissa, we should talk about this, if we are to do this right we have to plan in advance." He stated as I heard them pause outside my bedroom door.

"I am not saying I'm against kicking her out, but we can't do it now. It would be too obvious what we are trying to do and we don't want to put attention on ourselves." I hear her huff out and I can hear the slight click of her heels as she turns around and walks away.

I hear my Uncle sigh and follow after her. Every time she threatened to kick me out, my Uncle would make up some lame excuse to not let it happen. To keep her at bay until I was old enough to support myself. I never took his words to heart because I knew he was trying to protect me. Although, recently I can tell how much pressure this was putting on him. Constantly fighting with his wife, worrying about his job, and trying to prevent me from being kicked out on my ass.

However, my time was being stretched thin and I was proven right when not even 30 minutes later I hear Aunt Clarissa barge into my room, throw the covers off of me, and start riping the clothing out of my closet. Throwing them into garbage bags, I stare at her shocked.
