As I appeared into the white room, my heart beat too fast and my stomach churned uncomfortably.Nothing like how Claudia described it.
A flame gently licked the wall as I looked around as I tried to orient myself.
In front of me lied a sword and a small box with simple instructions.
Eat and fight.
I swallowed the small tablet without any water.
As I escaped the small room I was faced with barren land and a furious dragon.
Aoife's unconscious face stared back at me.
I squared up and held the sword, I'm sure incorrectly.
I saw the fire in the dragon's eyes. The sword weighed uncomfortably in my hand.
Sweat rolled down my temple. I couldn't harm the creature who stood before me, laying waste to the land.
I threw my sword aside. I ran faster than I ever had. My knees almost giving in beneath me.
I carried Aoife, and like Atlas, I held my world on my shoulders.
Placing her in safe place, I face the creature.
If it would kill me let it do so, I couldn't care.
