Reunion

Author's Note: Meteora is 17 years old because I'm keeping the fact she was turned back into a baby. With my logic, Eclipsa was recrystalized because she originally thought Star deserved to be queen. This was obviously before Star's crystallization. I know the logic of this story is strange but I have fun writing these!

Luna's POV: I know I agreed too suddenly but for a chance to meet my grandma, there's not much I wouldn't do. Moon lived alone in here own home that Star built for her after River died of natural causes so it was easy to find Moon. I was told about my grandparents just the year I was taken away. Using my dimensional scissors, I arrived at Moon's doorstep. I was positive she would recognize me. She saw me when I was too young to remember. If I were her I know I would recognize my own grandchild. It took me all the courage I had but I eventually knocked on the door. A young, red headed woman opened it. "Um, hello, I'm looking for Moon Butterfly."

Moon's POV: "Moon." Regina caught my attention. I knew I didn't need to reply. We made eye contact and she stated, "Someone is here to see you." "Someone is here... to see me?" I found it hard to believe that after 7 years of contact with only Regina, someone was here to see me. "Yes. You should go greet her." Her? I walked towards the door. Could Star have been freed from her crystal? Hope built up inside me as I reached the door and saw something I thought I would never see. Her brunette hair, the crescents on her cheeks, her sky blue eyes. Here before me was my granddaughter. I stood in the doorway frozen and shocked while feeling too many emotions at once. "Luna... please, come in." I showed her to an small tea area. This is where I would usually have tea with Regina twice a week. "This is Regina." I pointed at her. "She's been my housekeeper for 6 years. At this point she's practically family to me. Regina could I bother you to serve us some tea please?" Regina nodded and walked away.

Luna's POV: Regina served us lemon ginger tea and left to what I assumed to be her room. "So, Luna. What is the reason I find you sitting here before me?" Moon asked me. I explained what happened as best as I could while adding some small bits of "I've been wanting to see you again for so long." So she wouldn't think I'm just here to ask for assistance. "I'm afraid I won't be able to give you an answer until I speak to Hekapoo. What I really want is for Star to be free. I can come with you to see Hekapoo and discuss terms. I will only help on the condition that Star is set free. Not to be queen, but just so she can live again." She had many reasonable requests. "Moon, do you think that if my mom is set free, us three can live together as a family?"
