the chair swivelled around and a tall, slim figure came into view. Simon Cowell. I'd never met him but I had heard that he was actually a laid back kind of guy! "uh, um," I stuttered, but Jeffrey cut in, "we finished the song sir, so we decided to have a little fun before lunch" Simon smiled at us both and looked for a while.
"guys, call me Simon or si! Can I hear your song, or is it highly confidential until release?" He joked, smiling to himself. Jeffrey chuckled as I said, "sure, you can hear it" and switched on the final recording.
around 3 minutes later, the music finished and I high fives Jeffrey, amazed at how good it actually sounded. "well." Simon started with a serious look on his face, "that was the most amazing song I've heard in a long time! Especially for two young kids like yourselves!" Phew! I thought he hated it!
wait a second, Simon Cowell LIKES OUR SONG! Oh my gosh that's amazing! I smiled to myself, screaming in my head. We said thank you and Simon left the studio. "hey jess," Jeffrey asked, I looked up and gave him a questioning look, "let me buy your lunch?" I scoffed and said "jeffy, if you were going to buy me lunch, you would be skint in a matter of seconds!" He burst out laughing and got up, grabbing my hand and dragging me towards the door to studio 3 opening it. "you know how much you love my?" I gave Jeffrey puppy dog eyes and he sighed, "jump on" he crouched down with his arms ready to grab me and I jumped on his back, wrapping my arms around his chest. For a slim guy he has a LOT of muscles! "TO NARNIA!" I shouted throwing my arm forward, gaining strange looks from people around the building. He began to run quite fast towards the canteen which made me bounce like mad on his back, making me laugh uncontrollably. "just keep swimming, just keep swimming" I sang over and over until we got to the canteen doors. Jeffrey dropped me gently onto the floor and grabbed my hand, interlocking our fingers. I opened to door and we walked in, instantly hit by the amazing smell of a bakery/restaurant kitchen. When we got to the food, I got stuck with an important decision.
