Him

Finely's POV

I stared wide eyed at the huge man standing above me. He was huge, intimidating, and extremely attractive. He had on only a pair of basket ball shorts and no shirt. His six pack was on display, and it was mouthwatering. His brown hair was pushed up and off to the side. He had the most amazing blue eyes. I could look at him all day.

I looked behind him to see two other guys standing there in only basketball shorts as well. They were also very hot but not much of a comparison to him.

I felt his hand on my shoulder and immediately swat it away as I back up until I am pressed solidly against the tree I had been laying against. I don't think that I will ever be comfortable with a man touching me, let alone a stranger that just woke me up in the middle of the woods, I don't care how hot he is. I moved even father away when I saw the frown cross his face. He even started to growl. It sounded so animalistic it was scary.

He kept moving closer and growling even more. I was beyond scared. Who is this guy and why is he out here? And what does he want with me?

"Don't run away from me," he said with so much force I cowered away instinctively. A look of hurt crossed his eyes. He bent down and said to me more softly, "Don't be scared. I'd never hurt you."

For some reason I believed him, I never thought I would trust a man again but strangely I felt safe around him. I look up into his eyes and he seemed a lot less angry. This is so weird I need to get out of here.

I started to get out of the ball I had turned myself into from all over the cowering. I began to stand up when he stood up and tried to help me up too. When he grabbed my hand I felt tingles go up and down my arm. I quickly pulled my hand away.

He spoke again but this time to the two guys behind him without taking his eyes off of me. "Jasper, Alex, you can go back to the house."

They give him a confused look, but did what they were told anyway. Was he the leader or something? I watched them run off into the woods trying to avoid his steady gaze.

"What's your name?" He asks startling me.

"Finley," I said looking down at my feet. 'You idiot, why would you just tell him that. You don't know him' I scolded myself. But I couldn't help it. There was something about him that just made me drawn to him.

"What are you doing out here in the woods?" he asked.

I just wanted to get away. I should't be here with him. I can't trust this guy no matter what I feel.

I start inch a little bit father away. He is so huge I know that I won't be able to outrun him. I either have to get him to let me go or distract him somehow. Something tells me that it will be hard to do either.

"Nothing," I reply. I need to stall him as long as I can.

He didn't like this reply and growled again. What is with the growling? It is freaking me out. He also must have noticed me slowly backing away because he made up the distance with two steps toward me. He is standing too close for comfort right now; I am easily within an arms reach. I have to get away from him, who knows what he will do?

"Why are you on my land?" he demands, however it sounded more curious than angry.

"Your land?" I ask bewildered. I shouldn't have responded, but my curiosty got the better of me. This little bit of information made me forget about my mission of getting away.

"Yes my land," he repeats, "What is that alpha of yours telling you? That you can just run wild around here? That is unbelievable." He sounds a bit more annoyed now. A look passes over his face. I can't tell if is annoyance or hatred. This makes me back up a bit more.

But one of his statements keeps me asking questions out of curiosity, "What do you mean alpha?"
