-"When does it start"- She didn't ask, but said that as a sentence

-"It's a night tournament, so it starts at nine"

She opened the door, and even ignored Wakiya when he asked what had happened. She didn't like the idea of her being weak.

[Back to actual time] 

-"Girl, tell me what's wrong"

No answer 

He stood in front of her -"Don't ignore me! I asked you something! Answer me!"

Shoko showed part of her eyes, giving him a death glare. She spoke with a deep voice -"Move"

Wakiya shivered, and let her pass. The girl walked away, closed fists, to the park. Maybe a battle could calm her. Besides, she was battling Shu. If she won, she'd show Mr. Komasaki he was wrong and she could handle the "competition" of that tournament.

Soon she arrived, and was immediately tackled by a blue-haired boy, earning a hug that didn't let her breathe well. 

-"You came! You actually came!"

-"Y-Yeah I d-did"- She patted his back

-"You're so awesome!"- Valt buried his face on her chest, making her blush and the others started to pull him back, but he didn't move 

-"V-Valt... I-I can't breathe-e... Ple-please let go..."

-"Oh"- He stood up and rubbed his neck -"Sorry"- He chuckled 

-"It's okay"- Shoko looked up, where the albino was offering his hand (Pic). Slowly, she took it and stood up -"Thanks" - She mumbled

-"No prob"- The albino smiled

-"So a battle between Shu and Shoko huh?"- Keru crossed its arms

-"This is gonna be epic!"- Besu followed

Valt nodded -"Yeah!" 

Honcho closed his eyes and smiled -"Alright, guess I gotta be the ref"

-"Come on guys! Let's get this show on the road!"- Valt could barely hold his excitement 

Both bladers positioned themselves and took the string.

-"Alright, this will be a two point battle!"- Honcho opened his fan and used it to divide them, holding it in the middle of the stadium. He looked at them -"Ready?"

-"Yup"

-"Set!"- He lifted his fan

-"3!"

-"2!"

-"1!"

-"Let it"

Shoko jumped 

-"RIP!"

Draco fell in the middle, and somehow, bounced, hitting Spryzen in midair and earning one point. Everyone was shocked. The beys hadn't even landed, and the girl had already stolen a point. Shu looked at his bey, trying to process what just happened, and Shoko took B/N. She then looked at the blond boy.

-"Ready"

It took him a while to react and shake his head -"R-Right! Shoko wins one point due to the ring-out finish!"

-"Uh guys what just happened?"- Valt tilted his head

-"That was wicked!"- Keru exclaimed

-"I wouldn't want to be Shu right now"- Besu continued
