Growing closer

Y/N's P.O.V.

It's been a while since I got out of the hospital and returned to the Beyclub, now with Daigo in. To be honest, I felt kinda relieved that I had to go to the nocturne tourney instead of the one at the mall, because that way I could dedicate the whole day to my assignments, spend time with the club and help them improve their skills, and give my back some rest. 

However

The fact that Shoko wasn't in the tournament anymore troubled the guys, specially Valt. 

He wanted to battle so badly against Draco. 

So every time he went to the mall, he looked for her. I feel guilty about it. But I can barely defeat the guys of the "sewers", so there's no way I can give Valt a good battle, and that would be worse. 

But on the other hand, the topic of Shoko kept him distracted, so he didn't directed to us as frequently as before. That way, I could have more free time to spend on my things. But for now, it's Friday evening, so I can wake up late tomorrow!

3rd Person's P.O.V.

-"Mmm..."- She turned around, peacefully sleeping -"Yeah, I'd love to eat something too..."- She mumbled

'BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!'

-"Ah!"- She woke up abruptly and fell -"Ouch..."- She rubbed her butt

There was a knock on the door -"Y/N? You okay?"

-"Y-Yeah"

Shu opened the door, and chuckled when he saw her -"What happened?"

The girl pouted -"That clock! I-It's so noi-noisy!"

He chuckled again -"Well yeah, it's an ALARM CLOCK, that's what it's supposed to do"- He walked to her and offered his hand -"Come on, let's go eat breakfast."

She gave him a bright smile and took his hand, then stood up -"Y-Yeah!"

They went to the kitchen, still hand in hand. Shu took a pan and started making breakfast, while Y/N helped set the table. However, when the girl finished setting the utensils, she headed straight to the albino, just to tackle him into a hug. 

-"Woah, hold your horses Y/N"

-"I'm hungryyyy"

-"I know"- he chuckled -"Breakfast will be ready anytime soon"

-"B-But my tummy hurts" - A playful pout was shown on her face, making the boy ruffle her hair

-"Five minutes won't kill you, pretty" 

Silence. The nickname took both by surpise: Shu blinked in disbelief as he had not planned to call her that, and Y/N blushed in response. The tension built up as both bladers didn't sya anything and lost themselves in their minds. It was until the waffles were ready and the ring echoed in the room that they realized their daydreaming. 

"I-I'll go get it" - The albino stumbled upon his feet and hurriedly made his way to the waffle maker, taking his time to put them on plates and decorate their breakfast. On the other hand, the girl simply opened the counter and filled two glasses of milk, adding the marvelous thing chocolate was and stirring them, to later join her roommate at the table and have their first meal. 

However, the embarrassment could still be felt and it was becoming annoying. 

"I'm sorry" - Shu spoke up after he finished eating his first waffle "I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable" 

Y/N shook her head softly, reassuringly "I-It's okay, I-it just caught me o-off guard-hard" 

That was their cue to smile and forget.
