Grace woke up and frowned, she didn't realise that had woke her up smashed started coughing, she frowned as she saw smoke and cursed herself as she stood from the bed as she grabbed her phone off of the side as she walked to the balcony door

she was coughing a lot, she was scared and she knew that the flat was on fire and she was scared, she was scared over it and she hated how idea how she was going to get out, she scrolled through her phone as she went to call nick

"grace where are you" he asked as she started to cough uncontrollably, she knew that she Inhaled s lot of smoke

"the flat...nick I can't" grace said as she passed out, Nick stood in the factory and frowned

"grace...grace are you there" he said as Esmè walked in looking for Carla. Nick looked to his sister in law and frowned, he knew that by the look on her face that something had happened

"what happened" he asked as Esmè sighed

"your flat it's on fire" she said as he rushed out of the flat, he knew grace wasn't feeling well and how she had gone home, he rushed out of the factory and cursed to himself as he rushed into the flat

"nick" Esmè called as he rushed inside, he knew that the building was on fire as he rushed into the flat that was on top floor

"grace where are you" nick called as he rushed into their bedroom as he found grace as she lay passed out on the floor, she picked her up and cradled her unconscious body in her arms

"its going to be okay" he said as he carried her outside

Esmè sat in the hospital as she looked to see Carla as she walked down the hallway and over to her daughter and hugged her

"what happened" Carla asked as Esmè sighed

"there was a fire at the flat, grace was there. She went home for a nap she wants feeling well. Nick saved her he is getting checked on, do you think that she will be okay" Esmè asked as Carla hugged her and smiled

"I know that you are worried my darling but this is your sister and you know what she is like, she will be okay, she is always okay, it will be okay" Carla said as nick walked down the hallway, Carla knew how she didn't like the idea her ex was how her son in law but she knew how much that he loved grace

"have you heard anything" Carla asked as nick sighed

"she's inhaled a lot of smoke, they have her On a ventilator until she wakes up it's critical but I know grace she will be fine she's a fighter" nick said as he sat down as Esmè smiled

"she will be okay she's grace. She's been through a lot. Do we know how the fire started" Carla asked as nick shock his head, he blamed himself for not getting to her sooner

Nick sat by graces bedside and smiled as he took a hold of her hand and sighed, he was worried. He was worried and scared, he knew that the last thing he wanted was to loose her

"I know that your scared but I am here and it's all going to be okay, we will be okay. I know it" he said as he looked to see the smoke that was still on her and the machines as they breathed for her.

He was scared as he knew that the last thing he wanted was to loose her but would grace be okay?
