Grace stood in front of the mirror. She smiled as she looked to her small bump that was starting to form, grace was still in shock that she was going to have a baby. It was her miracle baby after last time and she knew how she wanted to make it work. She knew that she wanted to make it work

Nick walked into the room and smiled as he walked over to her. He wrapped his arms around her and smiled "are you okay" he asked as she smiled

"I'm okay. My head is a mess and I just can't believe we are having a baby sometimes" she said as he looked to her and smiled

"It will be okay. I know that the Miscarriage destroyed you and this is our second chance and you are going to be a great mum" he said as she turned to face him and smiled

She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him close and kissed him

"We're officially going to be a family" she said as he smiled

"It's all going to be okay. I have to go to work are you going to be okay" he asked as she smiled

"I'll be fine. I have a doctors appointment and then I'll be in later. No heavy work I'll work in the office I need to do something and get out of the flat" she said as he smiled

"Yeah well maybe I can treat my wife to dinner then" he said as she smiled

"Id like that" she said as he looked to her and smiled. He pulled her close and kissed her

"I'm going to be late" he said as she smiled

She knew how things weren't easy but she knew how she and Nick were happy and wanted to make it work

Grace smiled as she walked through the street as she saw Esme "you know that mum is going to kill you for bunking off again right" she asked as he smiled

"No. Not if you dint tell her" Esme said as grace looked to her and chuckled

"I am not going to snitch but I am not going to cover up for you. It's not easy being a teenager I get that. I mean I was a year older than you when I married Nick, you won't do that" she said as Esme chuckled

"Yeah I agree there. I'll go back okay. I wanted to skip maths that's all" Esme said as grace smiled

"In a few years you'll wish that you have the problems of skipping maths class" grace said as Esme looked to her and smiled

"You look happy. Being pregnant it suits you" Esme said

"It feels right" grace said resting her hand in her bump and smiled

Grace walked into the restaurant and smiled as she saw nick. He looked to her and smiled

"How did the doctors go" he asked

"All good. Our little peach is all good" she said as he smiled

"Good" he said as he leant in and kissed her. Grace knew how hard that she was trying to make it work and how it wasn't easy but she was happy

She was happier than she had been in a long time but would everything really work out?
