Nick say next to graces bedside and sighed as he looked to her. He knew how she still hadn't woken up and he was worried. He knew all that he and grace had been through and she was his wife and he knew that the last thing that he wanted was to loose her

Nick looked to see Carla as she walked into the room and looked to him and smiled

"How is she?" She asked as he smiled

"There's no change but she inhaled a lot of smoke so it's just having to wait. She'll be okay. I know grace and I know how she is a fighter. She'll be okay" nick said as Carla walked over to her daughter and smiled

She brushed her hair out of her face and smiled as she looked to him

"I know I wasn't keen on the fact that you married my daughter but I'm glad that your there for her and I'm glad that she has you" Carla said as nick looked to her and smiled

"That means a lot. It does but I am not going anywhere. I left her in the flat and there was a fire and I know I couldn't forgive myself if she had died in the fire. But I know that she will be okay" nick said as Carla looked to him and smiled

She hoped that he was right as she knew that she couldn't loose her daughter. She knew that Esme and grace were her world

Esme walked into graces room. She looked to her older sister and frowned as she looked to her

She looked to nick who lay asleep next to her bed and smiled. Esme knew how much that he loved her sister and she knew it was what she wanted

She wanted someone to love her as much as he loved her sister. Esme sat on the seat next to graces bed that Carla had been in earlier and smiled

"I need to talk to you. Your my sister and I hate how your in here fighting for your life. I just want it all to be okay" Esme said as she looked to grace and smiled

"We will miss you and we all need you to fight. We all need you to be okay and I just don't know what I would do if I didn't have my sister" Esme said.

She knew how none of it was easy. She was worried over her sister

Nick sat looking at grace and frowned as he looked to her. She squeezed his hand as he smiled

"Hey" he said as she opened her eyes as she looked to him and smiled as he leant in and kissed her

"How are you feeling?" He asked as he smiled

"Tired sore" she said as he smiled

"Your going to be okay I am here for you and you will be okay I promise" nick said as grace placed a hand on his cheek and smiled as she pulled him close and smiled

Grace had no idea how everything was going to change for her and nick but could they cope with it?
