81. The Guests
On the morning of M95 Planet, the bright sunlight shone on the person who slept soundly with a blanket wrapped around the bed through the window.
Gu Bai's face looked more delicate under the light.
However, at this moment, the beautiful morning was broken by the noise downstairs. Gu Bai frowned and pulled the quilt up to cover his head, but the noise continued.
Gu Bai hadn't experienced such a noisy morning for a long time.
Ever since he transmigrated into this world, he only didn't sleep well in the first few days.
But after confirming that he was in an era of peace, he slept tight and always woke up naturally because he knew his life was safe without the zombies' threat.
There were few residents around the farm, so the noisy sound was hard to hear.
However, there were people talking and even sighing excitedly from time to time.
Gu Bai finally couldn't stand it anymore. Looking at the time, he knew it was almost time to get up, so he just got up and cleaned up. Then he wondered who was making such noise to disturb him.
"Be quiet, guys. Master Bai is still sleeping," the butler sounded outside, deliberately lowering his voice to warn the rest.
This was what Gu Bai heard as soon as he went downstairs.
"Did you plant all these? How did you make it? How come they grow so well?" The man was so excited, so his voice was uncontrollably higher.
"Oh, my! You've planted so many vegetables here and even mixed them together. They all grow so well. How did you do it?"
The man didn't wait for the butler's answer but sighed the rest as if he was indulged in his world, not noticing the housekeeper's warning.
"I was shocked when I saw these vegetables on the live stream, but I didn't expect to see them with my own eyes," another young man said.
The butler looked at the three of them circling around the garden and felt speechless.
"Grandpa Gu, who are they?" Gu Bai walked into the courtyard and asked Butler Gu as he saw the three strangers.
"Master Bai, did they wake you up?" The butler saw Gu Bai come out and frowned. Obviously, he had a bad impression of these strangers who had suddenly appeared.
"Who are they?" Gu Bai asked again.
Grandpa Gu said helplessly, "I don't know, either. They suddenly appeared at our house this morning. See? They can't even take their eyes off our garden. They've stayed for an hour, but I can't get them out."
Although Grandpa Gu looked quite helpless, his tone was full of pride when it came to the garden of the family.
In fact, he could understand their behaviors. If he had seen a garden with such vegetables in the past, he would have the same reaction.
But he knew better than before. As long as Gu Bai planted anything, they would definitely grow up safely.
Butler Gu went to the farm every day, so they were not enough to surprise him.
"This is an eggplant, that is a cabbage, and this is… green vegetables, right?"
"That's awesome! Let me take a note."
An old man with grey hair and wrinkled face was now in a good spirit. He moved so fast, walking around the garden as if he wanted to rush in and take a good look at these things.
