A new haunted town fell into your day!

You loved visiting haunted places ever since you've been a kid.
When you were tiny, your grandpa took you to a fake haunted house, and that was where your love for the paranormal spooks began.
As soon as you were able to, you searched up haunted places, towns, houses, hospitals and even woods, just so you could eventualy visit them and take pictures.
Nowadays you wouldn't be ashamed to say you had been in at least... fifty to seventy haunted places across America.

You didn't even care that some of them were fake, or considered fake. You went in for the abandoned spooks!

And just now, you were on your way to a town that was nicknamed "Hell on earth".
The town, of Silent Hill.

The name gave you shivers.
So that's great!

You drove through thick forests, not even noticing the lack of wild animals.
A blue road sign aproached you on your way.
There were only two paths, one pointing to the city and a gas station, and the other to... the words Silent Hill were sprayed out with red paint and re-written to 'HELL'.
Sure is inviting...
You turned left towards Silent Hill.

As you drove on the straight black road, you went by a very old car in a scarp to your left.
It was rusted and busted. Had it's front rammed into a tree before it. It bent in a gross way, almost repricating a pained look of a person.
As you stared at the car, it felt as if all time had slowed down. Just for you to have a good look at it.
It was the same model your car was... or at least it seemed like it. You couldn't tell through the amount of rust.

You focused back on the road only to gasp back all air you had, slamming on the brakes, launching yourself foward.
Lord praise seatbelts.
You breathed so heavy. Your mind had to wrap around you being still alive.
You even had to touch yourself to feel that you're still here.
Still in one piece...
A dog stood in the mist far before your car. You hadn't noticed when exactly the fog rolled in.
You were so glad you didn't ride it over.
It just stood there, it's siloulette staring at you. You'd almost think it's fake by it's lack of movement, but you saw it twitch here and there.
Odd.
Hope it doesn't have rabies.
You didn't want to get out of your car and risk it yet. You blew your horn at the dog.
It was a short, quiet honk but the dog only twitched like before, not doing anything else.
You opened your door.
You saw the canine take a step. You weren't sure if it was to the back or front.
"Hey! Puppy!" You tried shouting at it.
Only a twitch.
Okay this is getting weird.
"Go!" You tried anything to get it to move.
No other movement.

Fine.
Have it your way.
You unbuckled the seatbelt.
You got out of your car, shutting the door. You stood on place, not trying to aproach the dog yet.
It seemed surprisingly large in person. And... naked. It was furless. It seemed to have mutilated ears. Probably from fights with other dogs.
Something stuck to his stomach, waving in the wind.
"Go! Shoo!" You stomped and clapped your hands.
The animal had let out a sound you've never heard before. Not from any animal at least. It sounded like something between a wail, a bark and a... scream? It was so hard to describe.
"G..go!" You clapped again, seeing it move back.
It let out the gross sound again, running off to the mist, further from you. God even it's run looked sickly... it was as if it didn't knowhow to use it's own legs.
But it didn't run away, it waited, looking at you.

You sighed and took slow steps, following it.
As soon as the canine saw you move it lamped foward, sometimes checking if you followed, sometimes speeding up to catch up with the mist.
It was as if... it was using it to hide itself.
And now you're following a dog. You've officialy gone crazy.
You looked down. You saw it's paw prints. Wait... on asphalt?
