A few days had past since I last saw Antonio.

He remained cooped inside his room not seen or heard from anyone except for Donatello. Who, on occasion, would make sure he hadn't tried escaping, which surprisingly he didn't.

However, today would be different.

Today we were expecting some company from the Ricci mafia. A fellow rival of Donatello's that had suddenly decided they wanted to end there feud.

Donatello had decided to throw them a casual dinner party with a few of his close members (by close I meant Miguel because that seemed like the only person Donatello would ever trust). To settle some agreement.

I stayed inside my room while maids and workers busied themselves around downstairs preparing for tonight's event.

My eyes remained fixated on the dress that hung on top of my dresser.

It was a tea length, pale pink tule dress with off the shoulder straps. The dress was something Aleena had picked out for me, knowing pink was my favourite colour, she thought it was best if I wore it tonight.

My jet black hair had grown out these past few years which meant I could style it. So I opted for a half Up do to go with the dress.

A sudden knock appeared "who is it" I questioned through the other side.

"It's me" Aleena replied letting herself in.

She walked towards the bed placing her youngest, Emilia, on the bed and walked beside me "are you ready?" She asked looking at the dress.

"Nearly" I smiled "you look nice"

"Thank you" she blushed wearing an emerald green dress that hugged her body. Her golden brown locks rested low on the back while her dark red lipstick cracked into a smile.

My eyes found themselves staring at my lap whilst I mumbled "have you seen him yet".

Aleena sighed a little taking a seat besides me "not yet".

We sat in silence for a while feeling the awkwardness all around the room.

Aleena eventually got up pulling me along with her "how about we get you ready, maybe that'll make him crawl out of his room"

A small laugh left my lips "alright".

The clock had chimed 8pm when the door bell rang inviting our guests inside our home.

Low mumbles were heard in the foyer as we waited for one of Donatello's men to ensure us it was safe to come down. Finally a young man approached us signalling us it was safe to go.

I linked my arms around my sister in law and descended downstairs.

Every step felt like months as my eyes scanned around the foyer looking for a familiar face. I just wanted a glimpse of him. I glimpse enough to feed my appetite.

My eyes eventually met Antonio'. He was dressed in a black tuxedo looking handsome that my heart did a little flip just at the sight of him. but his gaze remained on the floor like always.

A man who seemed to be in his late sixties and another who was much younger, maybe late 20s, stood side my side in front of Donatello whilst a woman in her mid forties stood behind the older man.

Once we had made it to our guests, Donatello instantly linked his arms around his wife's "Aleena, Lucia. I would like to introduce you to Giovanni Ricci and his son Lorenzo and wife, Sophia".

"It's a pleasure to have you here" Aleena answered for the both of us.

"Likewise" Lorenzo answered.

Lorenzo smiled at Aleena eventually meeting my gaze which I returned. He gave a small nod before returning to Donatello.

For some reason my eyes still remained on his. I wasn't going to tell and say he wasn't good looking because he was.

With green eyes that slightly changed colours depending on the light. His hair was a muddy brown colour that matched the slight stubble on his well structured face and when he smiled a flash of perfect white teeth appeared.

"Shall we head to the dinning room" Donatello interrupted my trance and began making his way.

I started to follow when a certain person stood besides me "why don't we walk together" I heard him say and when I looked to find who it was I was slightly disappointed.

"Thank you, Lorenzo" I hooked my arm around his. I turned to see where Antonio was but he seemed to have disappeared.

We both made our way to the dinning room where Angelina and Miguel stood waiting for us to enter.

I gave them a small wave before I took my seat besides Lorenzo and Aleena. Finally spotting Antonio who was sitting next to Miguel and his wife.

"What a beautiful house" Giovanni said trying to make small talk.

"Thanks" Donatello replied scanning the table trying to see if anyone is misbehaving. I couldn't help but roll my eyes.

Soon enough our food arrived and everyone broke into small talk.

"So what are some of your hobbies" Lorenzo spoke besides me while cutting his steak.

"Oh" I paused for a second "I suppose I like to paint" He let out a small laugh "what's funny" I said raising a brow.

"Nothing, just wouldn't of guessed that"

"What did you think?" A questioned watching his expression change.

A couldn't help but crack a smile. He seemed like a calm person, unlike the other men in the Mafia, he seemed well mannered which was refreshing to see these days.

A smirk started to form on his face "well I though-"

"AHEM" someone coughed on the other side.

We all turned to find Antonio slapping his chest "sorry something got stuck" coughing again.

"Are you alright" Lorenzo asked but all Antonio did was roll his eyes and return to the food in front of him.

"Where were we" I heard someone say returning my attention to the man sitting besides me instead of the one across.

"I guess we could change one of the rooms into an art studio" he shrugged placing the meat inside his mouth.

Slowly nodding, my body instantly jolted with the realisation of what Lorenzo had just said."Excuse me, what?"

Lorenzo placed down his fork "you know? When we move in together"

What is he talking about? I thought. Why did he think I was moving in with him?

My brows scrunched in confusion I couldn't understand what was going on. "Who told you we were moving in together?"

Lorenzo let out a sigh "your brother didn't tell you, did he?"

Panic began to rise inside my stomach "Tell me what"

"We're getting married"
