Andrea's P.O.V.
/present time/
"Architect Sylvia meet Engineer Lincoln."
I look up from my chart board, smiling widely and ready to introduce myself. But when our eyes met, my smile turned into a scowl as I froze from my spot.
"He's the newly assigned engineer in this project. So I hope that you two will get along." Engr. Reyes, the head of our Engineering Department continued.
WTF? He's an engineer?
The latter nod while I'm still stunned to produce any reply.
"Come with us, we're gonna inspect the tower 1."
". . ."
"Architect Sylvia?"
". . ."
"Architect Sylvia!?"
I snapped out from whatever fantasy I was in and returned to reality. I just... didn't expect na magkikita pa kami.
"I'm sorry sir. Please lead the way."
While we're walking. I chose to walk behind them.
"All the materials used here are imported, the supplier..." their voices slowly became muffled in my ears.
It's been 4 years I presume, since our first encounter.
I tried to find him for 2 weeks around our campus, and even in my friend's universities, halos lahat na yata ng departments nahalughog namin. Imagine the amount of effort I put in just to find him but in the end walang nangyari, 'di pa rin namin siya nakita.
So then I decided to give up.
'Di naman ako yung tao na ipipilit yung gusto kahit alam nang walang patutunguhan. And that's the least of my priorities back then since I'm graduating and will soon take the boards. I need to focus on reviewing and not on some guy that I accidentally bumped.
I didn't notice that they've already stopped walking and since I didn't notice it, I bumped into the back of Engr. Reyes. He turned and glared at me.
