Pero syempre sa akin lang 'to. It's also the main reason why I just let him do whatever he wants, thinking back I'd never confronted him or told him to stop. I just basically tried to ignore him as much as I can and keep my ill inner thoughts within myself. Kahit na minsan hindi ko na siya makayanan.

"We finally arrived, gising na guys!" Brent shouted which jolted me from my sleep.

Nakatulog ako! Maybe due to my lack of sleep and tiredness. Buti na lang nakasiksik ako dito sa gilid at hindi ako napadukdok sa balikat ni Killian.

I saw everyone beside Brent who has become our driver waking-up.

We stopped at a coffee shop. Outside the car I can't help but to shiver, the cold is getting on me even though I'm already wearing a cardigan.

Entering the shop, the ambience and the smell of coffee calms me. Parang naglaho ng bula ang mga problema ko sa buhay. Something in it makes me feel at home.

I look around and saw a father with his kid enjoying her cake while he is watching her with a big smile on his face. They look happy. I notice the father's attire, he looks like a farmer plus the straw hat on his lap made me deduced it.

There's also a couple and some teens enjoying their coffee's.

We made our way to the counter. I ordered lasagna and a hot chocolate drink. While we're walking to our table, I can't help but hear the conversation of the father and daughter.

"Tay, salamat po sa pagdala niyo sa akin dito. Okay lang naman po sa aking sa bahay lang tayo."

"Ano ka ba, minsan na nga lang sa isang taon birthday mo. Diba matagal mo ng gustong makatikim ng cake. Tinupad lang ni Tay, anak." The kid goofily smiled with her mouth covered of chocolate icing.

"Sige na ubusin mo na yan." The father said and look at her daughter adoringly as she happily munch her cake like its the best thing in the world without even caring if he doesn't have any food for himself.

Muntik na kong matisod sa pakikinig ko, buti na lang nahawakan ko braso ni Killian. Napatingin siya sa akin at umambang aalalayan ako ngunit inalis ko agad iyon at nagkunwaring walang nangyari.

Without another thought, I said to the group I forgot to order something and walk away.

I finally ordered it and was writing something when I felt someone beside me. I stop for a moment and look at him.

He just stares at me without even saying anything. There's something in his eyes that I can't read.

"For whom?" He said after a while.

"Them." I said and use my eyes to subtly point the father with his kid sitting on a corner.

He didn't said anything else which is pretty surprising because most of the time he always got something to say.

I quickly finished what I'm doing and put it inside the eco bag. I then smiled at the barista.

I was about to leave when he suddenly ordered something, he got two drinks. One chocolate drink just like mine and a coffee for take out. I looked at him confused, he already ordered so what are this for?

But I quickly understand what he's doing.

He also ask for a paper and write something just like what I did.

I tried to peek at his note but he flip his head at me with matching slit eyes, as if I'm copying his answers on a test.

He finished quickly and also put it on the eco bag.

"Please give this one to the father. Thank you."

The barista smiled at us and said.

"Nako, napakabait niyo naman po. Para po talaga kayo sa isa't-isa."

"Right?" Killian said living in his delulu era.

Kinurot ko ang braso niya.

"Oh, don't misunderstood. He's just my classmate. Walang ganon."

"Ay, sorry po akala ko po kasi mag-jowa kayo. Bagay po kayo ni sir, ma'am."

"Thank you, expect a big tip later kuya. Bye!" Killian said.

Agad niyang pinatong ang braso sa akin at ginaya ako papuntang table namin. Hindi ko pa nakocorrect si kuya! I jabbed him and walk away.

"Akala namin kung ano ng nangyari sa inyo, binili niyo ba lahat ng pagkain dito?" Sheena said pagkadating ko.

"I saw that they're just playing around."

"Nako-nako nagkakamabutihan na yata."

"Anong playing around? Play ground ba to? At saka tigil-tigilan mo ko Brent ha."

"Okay-okay, shut up na." Brent said and act like he's zipping his mouth.

"Well, anyways did you heard..." Sheena started another round of topic.

While we're talking I noticed the barista already gave our supposed "gift" to the father and the little celebrant. But the father keep rejecting it.

"Maraming salamat po pero hindi ko po matatanggap 'yan. Pasensya na."

"Tay huwag po kayo mag-alala, regalo po ito para sa inyo at ng anak niyo."

"Kanino po ba iyan galing?"

"Hindi ko rin po kilala eh. Ayaw niya pong ipaalam. Pero may iniwan po silang note sa loob. Sige po maiwan ko na po kayo."

"P-pero... Sandali. Ah maraming salamat."

"Hindi naman po ako dapat niyong pasalamatan pero walang anuman po."

The little girl opened the bag excitedly and squeaks when she saw its content.

It's a heart shape chocolate cake.

I thought she will open the box but instead she just take out the note.

"Iuuwi ko na lang po ito Tay. Para makakain din sila Lola at Kuya."

With just few words, my heart was melted by this little girl.

How I miss the innocence of my youth, where I appreciate even all the smallest things.

The father also take the note of Killian. As they both red the notes, I can't help but to noticed how the father eyes slowly glistened. Now, I was really curious what did Killian wrote.

I turned my face to look at him but to my shock he's already staring at me.

He was staring so deeply at me na feeling ko nakikita niya na ang mga deep secrets ko.

I was about to raised my eyebrow at him but then he slowly smiled.

I've never seen him smiled that genuinely before. He looks like a completely different person.

Like his smile has it's hidden meaning.

But I'm already aware since long ago.

No one can hide something from me. Even though nakakasira siya ng araw minsan... I know he's a good person.

Because behind all those antics lies a guy who cares about me and so with my gathered evidences I hereby close my case.

I know with conviction that he is proven guilty... Killian likes me beyond a reasonable doubt.
