A week later after the Emperor's brutal execution, the Machine Empire's has occupied more than 86% of the continent. They have conquered tens of kingdoms all over the lands including the beastmen lands and deserts of Hunhua.
Well, not always bloodshed, they made a diplomatic peace with other kingdoms and states without any violence like the Magic Academt for example.
But except for other kingdoms that rules with greedy assholes and corrupted nobles, theres alot of bloodshed between them.
The only kingdoms that aren't occupied or interact with was the Meccan kingdom, the Atira kingdom, and few more kingdoms out there.
The reason they didn't occupied the Atira kingdom was because they were still busy on other kingdoms, they didn't thought much about them. And as for the Meccan kingdom somewhere far north from Imperial territory, it will be a challenge for them because of how large and the numbers of mountains occupied the lands, they are also known as Bumnas Mountains and the blizzard storm that will ruined their comms and interfere the flight because the storm was made from a spell by archmages in the Meccan Kingdom after they heard the Imperial capital was lost.
The portal technology however only works when they been to places before and none of the survivors in both the empire and tue republic been to the Meccan Kingdom, the people who went there before werw desd during the 24-hour war which it is their mistake.
The only way to enter the Meccan Kingdom without flying was the Dwarven tunnels created by the ancient dwarves built 2000 years ago. The only problem was that the tunnels was hard to find because of the environment in blend in, it will take weeks to find the tunnel.
And reports say that the Meccan kingdom's technological level was similar to the Earth's 2050s and was said to be a more advance civilization than the Empire, Republic, and the Theocracy combined which the dwarves are more intelligent than an average human.
The Meccan Kingdom was in 4th place to be the most powerful powerhouse on Fordalt. While very advanced and powerful, the reason they aren't on the top was their numbers, while their single airship could take down few airships by itself, it wasn't enough when the Empire, Republic, and the Theocracy has much numbers on their airpower.
In the Machine Empire's territory, it was a fine life for the citizens, but there are few factions started to join deny their new rule however it was short as Mobile Task Force Epsilon-5 "The Revolt Order" began to hunt them, the resistance have a hard time to hide. However, the resistance in the Machine Empire's territory aren't the only ones that made, outside of their territory, the resistance have created and the new faction known as the Fordalt Resistance was almost began.
