Chapter 20: SUPRISE

Nickis POV
I flattened down my dress, my bump was already starting to show, I was nervous telling the rest of my family & friends that I was pregnant.

I heard someone come upstairs and it was drake.

Nicki: I'm nervous brey

Drake: it's going to be ok
He kissed my forehead

Drake: no matter what they will have to accept it at the end of the day
He smiled

I nodded a little and half smiled.

We where now at Red lobsters where we planned the dinner and me and drake were ready to announce the news

Drake cleared his throat
everyone's attention was now on him

Drake: thank use guys for coming over , if use are wondering why we invited use over is because we have some news

He looked nervous
And everyone look suspicious

Nicki: I'm pregnant

Everyone seemed shocked at first, then some people stood up and came to hug me and drake. Some where saying we would be amazing parents and stuff like that.

Then my mom walked up to me

Carol: this is it Nika , your going to be a mother now

She started to tear up

I pulled her into a hug,i hate seeing my mother cry

Drakes POV

I saw Nicki on the other side of the room hugging her mother and talking to people.

I rushed inside of the bathroom and took out the ring that was in my pocket,
It was the engagement ring I bought for Nicki, I asked her mother if I could take nickis hand in marriage and she said I could, I'm actually really nervous.

I sighed

??: are you nervous?

I looked up and it was my cousin Adam
(I just made him up 😂)

Drake: yeah I don't no why
I chuckled nervously

Adam: Man,
He laughed

Adam: just think, if you love her and want her to be in your life forever, just do it and it will show how much you love her and how much you want her to be your wife and the mother of your child,

I nodded

Drake: why am I even taking advice from a 14 year old
We both laughed.
And left the bathroom.

Nickis POV

I saw drake come up to me.

Nicki: hey

Drake: hey, I need to tell you something

Nicki: okay
I laughed nervously

Drake: Nicki, we've been together for 5 months now and I don't want you to be my girlfriend anymore

Nicki: what? But I'm pregnant bre-
Everyone was staring
Then he got on one knee

Drake: I want you to be my wife
He had a nervous smile

Drake: Onika Tanya Maraj would you marry me?
