⠀ MADDY AND BROOKE DIDN'T TALK FOR A WHILE AFTER the party. Not because they were upset with each other or anything. Rather the opposite. They'd both done shit they were embarrassed by and they were both avoiding the consequences. And both spent their weekends panicking about it with their closest friends other than each other.

⠀ INEZ WAS BROOKE'S CLOSEST FRIEND IN THE WORLD besides Maddy. Actually, they'd grown a lot closer since, after falling for Maddy, Brooke started getting careful about what she told her. And after she started dating Nate, Brooke kept a lot of things to herself 'cause she was scared he'd manipulate Maddy into telling him.

They spent the entire weekend talking about the party, about her fight with Nate, about how if Brooke had waited five minutes and had any working brain cells after spending the entire night higher than the empire state building Inez probably could have given her a ride considering she hadn't even left yet...
