( episode three ; made you look )

BROOKE AND MADDY WERE GRATEFUL FOR THE FACT that none of their friends mentioned the way they were cuddled together on Lexi's bed. the couch in the middle of the room. Probably 'cause it was far from the first time it had happened. Which, lucky for them, meant nobody was suspicious about it. Cause, sure, their friends knew they loved each other. But they didn't know they loved each other.

They hadn't exactly had the chance to talk about it either. What it meant, what was gonna happen next. And they were glad they were surrounded by so many people because, honestly, neither of them knew what that talk was gonna sound like.

But, considering what they'd done the night before, Brooke and Maddy were surprisingly well behaved around their friends for a lot of the day. A playful nudge here, a flirtatious look there, nothing so suspicious anyone would call them out for.

Except for when Brooke had let Maddy do her makeup that morning, insisting that to get the right angle for the look she was going for it was absolutely one hundred percent necessary to recreate that one 'lesbians doing makeup' meme. Eyeshadow palette in one hand and brush in the other, straddling Brooke's hips whilst Cassie made some joke about not needing the same kind of treatment when Maddy did her makeup.

Sifting through her clothes, Cassie stared anxiously as she pulled out another handful of tops from their hangers

"I wanna look cute, but not eager," she expressed, crossing the room towards where Maddy and Brooke were sitting on her bed

"Then don't wear that top," replied Maddy, making the sandy blonde second guess herself as she looked down at the frilly pink crop top she'd paired with her jeans

"This?" she questioned, "I thought it looked good,"

Brooke smiled softly, not so willing to hurt the poor girl's feelings as the truthful Maddy Perez, "It does!" she insisted, "Maybe just not for a college party," puzzled, Cassie watched as Brooke got to her feet to pick up a blue bodysuit, holding up against her body with a raised brow

"I don't really know if I like the bodysuit, though," she whined, frowning when she noticed the looks exchanged between Maddy and Brooke, "Why don't you like this?"

"I don't know," Maddy shrugged, doing nothing to hold back on her honesty as she continued, "I feel like you look better in that one,"

"The bodysuit?"
