Heyo ☺️

Jimin's eyes watered at the sight of the feast in front of him. The Empress immediately ordered the kitchen to prepare a large selection of food to appease Jimin. And the rumour of a selected crown princess had already spread throughout the palace.

Sometimes having rumours about you could be good. Jimin plucked all the dishes he missed when he was alive from the table and ate them all deliciously. Roast chicken. Steak. And the sweetest strawberries. He loved them so much he could have three baskets of them.
"Now I can finally die in peace." Jimin sighed contently.

"Are you sure about that?" Taehyung whispered into his ear, Jimin should have known from the black mist that slowly filled the room, the grim reaper would always be watching.

"Not literally!" Jimin shouted suddenly. The maids looked up from the table they were clearing. They seemed confused but also cautious. Because the person before them was the potential Crown Princess.

"Your Grace, is everything to your liking?"A maid bowed asking worriedly.

"Everything was absolutely delicious." Jimin replied delightfully. He looked all around him, the other maid seemed stressed as they fiddled with some basket of food, while the others were scurrying around. "Please you don't need to make me anymore food!"

"Your Grace..." The head maid had shuffled towards Jimin sheepishly. "Actually we are worried because the Crown Prince hasn't been eating well... so sometimes we stay up late create new recipes he might like."

Right. How could Jimin forget? He had watched Yoongi closely as ghost. "Right! How can you allow the Crown Prince to not eat properly!" Jimin pointed at all of them, he was upset. "My poor Yoons."

"We are deeply apologetic your Grace." The maids all bowed respectfully.

"Alright." Jimin said as he cleared his throat. "Everyone go to bed, and we meet here in the kitchen at six in the morning. I'm going to stay here and write up some recipes the Crown Prince likes."

The maids all seemed bewildered as if they had finally met a saint. "Thank you so much your Grace." And soon the kitchen was cleared, leaving Jimin alone with a notebook and pen... and of course Taehyung.

"Do you even know how to cook?" Taehyung mocked.

"Of course I did! I mean I do." Jimin stuttered as he began writing on the piece of paper. "I know what he likes the most."

Jimin could list a million things Yoongi liked. How he liked the sunset over the sunrise because he liked the view that welcomed the stars. Yoongi liked the little garden only they knew. Because it was the place where he laid his head on Jimin's lap as the Beta sang. The Crown Prince liked sneaking to the town market, he liked eating the street food and sharing them with Jimin. Just like any couple would do. He liked it when Jimin snuck into his Chambers, he liked it when they talked all through the night. He liked the way Jimin danced, how each move was designed to be seen by him.

And Jimin knew he liked all those things too. He liked them so much.

"Me. He likes me." Jimin responded confidently.

The clock finally stroke midnight, the series of rings, rang throughout the palace. They had known each other for so long, but today was day one.
