A past memory - Part 2

We've been here which feels like days, till now all we have done is clean our room, go eat in the cafeteria or just show each other some magic tricks. Me and Marcus has also been trying to restore our memory but is no use. 

Across the room was this little boy and he seems quite I've tried to talk to him but the others says he prefer to be alone. Amanda was the most fun to talk to and Selene well she seems to have trouble trusting people.

Some are annoying too but the most fun part is we got to learn about magic and how they works. Selene's boyfriend on the other is still a bit aggressive towards me since yeah you know.

'Hey, how come you to never shows us your powers?'

'We don't have any powers bro'

'C'mon I bet you do or else you wouldn't be here'

'Idk'

'Leave him alone Jake, he doesn't want people around him'

'Is fine I enjoy this'

'See? I know I'm always the best at talking with people'

'Haha says the idiot that pranked me the other day! Still acting like an kid'

'Anyway why don't I help you active your powers?'

'I already sa-'

'Nah we're trying!'

'Ok but I warn you is not gonna work'

'You can't tell before you try. Ok now take a deep breath and focus on feeling of the power inside you'

'I can't feel anything'

'Just concentrate and try to think about something that you REALLY desire it really helps'

Something I desire? I tried to think about my past life before I came here, I want to at least know about something. I tried for a while but before I could get the feeling of the power, I felt something it was like it's trying to show me

*Flashback*

'Congrats'

'Thanks jezz never thought the day will come'

'I know it felt like yesterday'

'Yes we're finally gonna know!'

What? Know what? know what? I tried to vision it again but it went all in vein. Who are those two people talking to each other? Did it had anything to do with my life?

'Marcus?'

'Oh sorry I got an flashback'

'A what?'

'A flashback of two people talking to each other'

*Alarm rings*

'Oh quick stand up, he's coming'

The door opened and it was an man also dressed in black but fancier this time, he looks kinda scary tho I can't see his face

'Hello everyone, I came here first and foremost to welcome the two new guys and to tell y'all that some of the rules has been changed. First is if any of you complains or even do anything unpleasant I won't hesitate to kill you, 2 don't you all dare use your powers for personal purpose and the most important don't go to the door at the end of the hall. Understood?'

All: Yes sir

'Good now go clean this room, I want this room to be spotless when I return in 1 hour!'

He slammed the door and the others got right away to cleaning. About a few minutes in a boy suddenly screams, he yells that he doesn't care if there's rules or not he wants to get out so one of the guard came in with an knife and slide it down his throat his body collapsed to the ground with the mouth still open dripping in blood. I couldn't stop staring wtf just happened?

'I ope this makes y'all understand loud and clear cuz it seems that someone wasn't paying attention before this. Now clean this mess up!'

We were left in the room once again. The rest of the cleaning was pure silent no one dared to speak a word. After a long long time the man came in to check and then left. One of them used their power to make the body disappear.

'Selene can I ask you something?'

'Sure'

'What's in the room at the end of the hall'

'Quite! You're aren't allowed to speak about and what's in it idk but one person manage to go in there and never to be heard again'

'Do you think they killed him?'

'No one knows but I don't think they just simply killed them.'

'How did you know?'

'That's something you don't need to know and now please get back to concentration!'

'Yes ma'am!'

For the past few days Selene trained and trained me and Martinus also on how to active and de-active our powers but for some reason our powers still won't come out. I could tell she's really trying to help us.

'Selene you don't have to try'

'No I can't let you both down'

'Is ok really maybe we really don't have powers'

'Martinus stop or don't could it be?'

'What?'

'Nothing and yeah I shouldn't force you like this my bad'

Her face completely changed, is she hiding something? Maybe she knows something about this place that she doesn't wanna tell me or anyone which makes me- OMG don't say that she's the daughter of the boss here?! Noo Martinus you're just making assumtion! There's no way or could it be her powers that makes her be able to reads minds? 

This whole thing is making me confused af, ugh stupid head!

I know what you're thinking Martinus and I'm not as what you think they capture you both here because you're the two cursed twins many years ago and you two hold something they want.
