The Break In

It was already 11:25 and the others were starting to get impatient, especially Jupiter, "How much longer till Felix gets here? It's getting cold." he put up his hood and zipped up his jacket and just a few minutes later Felix came running over while rummaging through the bags he brought, "I'm here!--" he placed his hands on his knees trying to catch his breath as Nyx glared at him playfully, "Took you long enough!" Cyrus walked over to them, "What did take you so long?" Felix let out a sigh, "I told you guys I'd be a little later, I had to take care of my mom before I left" Nyx knew that's what he said in the library but was still annoyed she had to wait so long before they would go inside, "It took you a lot longer than a little" she was poking his arm, "You could've texted us saying you'd be a bit later than you thought" Felix stood up straight, "I'M SORRYYYY,,, but I did bring a bunch of stuff, so uh, how are we getting in-?" Jupiter nodded, "Ya, can we hurry this up? I'M FREEZING" Cyrus agreed, "It's super cold Nyx, please hurry" Nyx looked back, "It takes time picking a lock with a hairpin guys! cut me some slack!" Roy was just standing there in a tank-top and shorts, "Yeah cut Nyx some slack!" Felix looked over at him shocked, "YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY INSANE!" Nyx had glanced over at Felix's remark, "OMG HOW ARE YOU WEARING THAT?!" Roy laughed, "It's actually pretty warm!" he ruffled both Nyx and Felix's hair,  Jupiter shivered, "Just looking at Roy makes me colder" Cyrus agreed with Jupiter again and handed Roy one of his extra blankets he had brought, "we all know you're lying, it's freezing" he handed the other blanket to Jupiter as they asked Nyx, "Did you get the doors opened yet" while wrapping the blanket he was handed around himself. Roy held the blanket in front of him still folded, "Well I'm not cold.. >:|" Nyx looked over to Jupiter and smiled as she pushed the doors open, "Welcome,," she made a hand gesture welcoming all her friends inside before herself. While walking in Roy attempted to hand the blanket back which Cyrus refused, "As if, just keep it, you'll make Felix happy" Roy gave Cyrus and Felix a confused face, "I don't understand?" he kept walking scratching his head, Felix chuckled, "Oh my god, you actual idiot" Nyx giggled shaking her head, "Seriously Felix, what do you see in him!" Felix glanced over at Roy then back at Nyx, "I see everything in him," he blushed and held onto Roy's arm, "he's my idiot <3~" Jupiter had looked over at the two then looked away, "Just seeing them makes me feel more single" Kade laughed at his remark, "It's okay Jupiter I'm sure you'll find someone!" he said as he slightly nudged Cyrus who was walking beside him. Jupiter looked over to Kade, "The only good looking people and good people in general are the people in this group." Felix smiled, "Awww, that's the nicest thing you've ever said Jupiter!" Jupiter gave Felix a small glare, "Don't get used to it" he said in a sarcastic voice. Nyx ignored the last part of the conversation and went back to what Jupiter said about the people in the group, "Oooo could Jupiter have a crush on someone in the group!" Jupiter gave a quick glance at Cyrus then looked at Nyx, "U-Uh..No!!" Nyx smirked, "YOU TOTALLY LIKE SOMEONE HERE!" Kade nudged Cyrus again and whispered, "Could be you!" Cyrus looked down and sighed, "as if.." Jupiter stared at Nyx, "I don't! Quit it Nyx!" Felix smiled, "me and Jupiter tell each other everything! So I know whooo~" Cyrus sighed, "C'mon guys, this is getting out of hand.. leave Jupiter alone.." Jupiter walked next to Cyrus and started to record, "I'm going to film incase anything happens--" just as he said that a loud noise came from down the hall and he held onto Cyrus' arm and they all closed eyes for a few seconds. Felix looked to the direction of the noise, "What even was that?" Nyx looked over where the sound was, "Maybe something fell-?" she looked back and squealed, "OMG THAT'S SO CUTE!!" she took her phone out as quick as she could and took a photo of Cyrus and Jupiter, Cyrus grinned being next to Jupiter before Jupiter spoke, "I just...I don't want to get lost!" he held onto Cyrus' hand, "THIS MEANS NOTHING!" Felix started to walk down the hall, "Lets check the sound out!" Roy was obviously nervous but went with him anyways, "O-ok..g-great idea!" Cyrus looked down and thought to himself 💭why would I think he actually liked me back..💭 Nyx had ran to the front of the group, "YESS! Lets goo!" Kade looked over at Cyrus smiling but once he saw his expression he got worried and ...walked over to Felix, "It's Cyrus.." and he walked back over to them giving no more context than that making Felix look over in the direction of Cyrus, "I DARE CYRUS TO CARRY JUPITER BRIDAL STYLE!" Jupiter smiled at the thought slightly which Felix and Roy noticed and Roy had started to chant, "DO IT DO IT DO IT!" Cyrus looked up blushing like crazy looking at Jupiter then back up, "I-I Uhm- if Jupiter..uh-" he looked back down unable to find the words when another loud banging sound was made making everyone shiver but saving Cyrus from the awkward situation. Felix grabbed Roy's hand and ran to the sound, "Lets check it out guys!" the two ran into the room Nyx running after them, "Damn.. you gays are fast.." she huffed still trying to catch her breath. There were only a few things out of place, everything else was how it always would be. "Maybe it was from a different room?" Nyx wondered when there was the sound of glass shattering coming from the supply closet, "Oh hey this is my art class-" Kade heard her from the other side of the room, "Mm wonderful, you're art class is haunted by a ghost" he laughed with Nyx and she punched his arm lightly, "Shut uppp!" Jupiter came in behind them, "So, who's gonna open the door?" Roy looked at the closet, "I-I'm good! Haha!,,," and he backed away. Nyx walked up the closet confidently, "This is my classroom so I'll open it!" Once the closet was open it was wet and paint was spilled all over but there was no sign of glass anywhere, all containers were plastic too,,, Jupiter pointed his camera around the room, "no glass?? but we all heard the shatter.." Kade shrugged, "Maybe the glass was a different room?" Cyrus popped into the conversation, "Either way, glass shattering with only us here is weird, that is assuming it's only us here.." Jupiter shivered at the thought, "Don't say stuff like that! It just makes it creepier.." Felix joined in the conversation, "WHELP, LETS KEEP EXPLORING!!" Nyx ran behind him, "But where should we go to next??" Jupiter thought for a minute, "I heard that this school was built back in the 1600's but it wasn't always a school, apparently if you go down to the schools basement you can hear the screams of the people who were tortured and killed down there, supposedly you can't leave the basement after you go in.." Kade looked at all his friends, "Assuming we all value our lives- maybe we shouldn't go down there-?" Nyx smiled, "How would they know you can't get out? If they went there and told everyone you won't come back but they came back themselves! I'm sure it's safe" Jupiter looked over to Cyrus, "You wanna come too, right Cyrus..?" He looked down, Cyrus knew he was scared and he didn't want to go but at the same time he didn't want to be one to ruin everyone's fun, especially Jupiter's.. "Y-yeah, lets go.." he gave a slight reassuring smile to Jupiter who smiled back.
