"Do you want me to teach you?"
"A-ah," Lyssa stuttered and looked at me. I smiled. "I..okay."
James smiled. "But I can't teach you now 'cause we don't have much time." James pulled out his phone and gave it to Lyssa. "Give me your number." And Lyssa did.
I strung the guitar after that. And the two boys too. "What should we sing?" Tris asked.
James said some song that I didn't heard.
"Sure," Tris replied.
"Lyssa, you can sing with us," James said.
I felt something between Lyssa and James. I don't know what was it but I really do feel a strange thing. Could they have a love story? I'd love it. And there could be a massive chance for a them because he's the one always entertaining her.
Ghhaaad, Zae, I thought. Of course he would, he should entertain her because she's in his house.
Yeah, right. But--
"You okay?" Tris asked and punch me playfully in my arm. I nodded and smiled. Perhaps I was thinking too much. I decided to went back on focusing on the guitar.
I strummed but we were cut off by my phone's ring.
"Sorry. Need to get this," I said and I headed outside his room. I leaned my hand on the metal terrace grills of their second floor. Giving me the view of their whole living room.
I pulled out my phone out of my bag. It's mom. "Mom?"
"Are you already going home now?"
"Uh, no mom. We're all still here." I looked at my pastel-colored wrist watch. I love looking at this. "It hadn't been an hour. I still have twenty minutes, I guess."
"But I need you to come home, I want to tell you something."
I was curioused. "Why mom? Something happened? Just tell me now." I was slightly freaking out inside. Just slight.
"We've change plans for the dinner. We cancelled it."
Yes! I thought. Now I could just hang out with them for more time. And tomorrow, I got whole day doing nothing. I'll just sleep, eat--
"We changed it into a more relaxing way. We're going to have a picnic with them, instead!"
"WHAT?!"
"Are you okay?" I heard Lyssa's voice so I turned back to see them. They were standing on the door frame. I signalled yes and put my hand infront of me. And they went inside.
"It's just a picnic."
"Mom, should I really come? Since it was a more kind of business thingy, so I guess I wasn't really nee--"
"Of course you should, Krisse. It's a family-business kind of thing. You need to be there with us."
I sighed. "Alright, mom. But I can't promise you that I'll be enthusiastic. I'm lame on that. Plus, I swear I won't enjoy it. I'd be a mess if I would try to have fun," I said, trying to discourage her. "I can't be in my best behaviour."
I heard her sighed. "Can you please at least try? Do it at least for me and your father."
I was silenced. But I managed to speak afterwards. "Okay, mom. I promise I'll try."
"Thank you, Krisse." She paused for a few seconds and started talking again. "And be sure to at least entertain their child."
WHAAAT?
