"Do you... want to be happy?"

Lily's expression lifts, and she looks up, soon meeting the glowing eyes of a beautiful fairy... the same one she saw in her dreams.

She's asking the same question again.

And so, Lily responds the same way she did before. "Who are you?" she asks, her face radiating pure innocence. It's almost as if she even trusted this certain fairy.

The fairy smiles at her, giving a warm, familiar aura to the girl as she spoke. "Is that so important...?"

It was the last day of spring, a morning in early summer, and a day where Lily should have been at the palace, observing her old friend's coronation now that he had become king, just like she dreamed he would be.

But it was odd that she was still here, in the fields near the borders of Wallowing Woods. And it was even odder that here she was, and infront of her stood a fairy, smiling down at her and beckoning her to follow.

"Lily, I will ask you again," the fairy speaks in the most soft and melodious of voices, "Do you want to be happy?"

Lily thought about it. But the more she did (or at least, tried to) the more her mind became foggy, like it didn't want to think. She could only give either one of two possible answers: yes or no.

She looks up at the fairy before her, and before she could even decide, the forest creature stretches her hand out to the girl, as if sure what she had already chosen.

"Miles, hurry!"

The horse gallops through the town, its hooves clacking loudly against the cobblestone as it headed for the borders of the town of Viridus. It's rider was still well-suited for a very formal occassion, but the boy himself didn't seem to be heading to one.

Townspeople exclaim in surprise and fear as they get out of the way, several of which gave dirty looks to the horse's rider, but the latter couldn't care less. After all, his concern was fully on the girl that had disappeared.

"Lily!" Arthur shouts as soon as he reaches the fields bordering the Wallowing Woods, getting off Miles and running through the fields aimlessly. "Lily, where are you?!"

Nothing but panic and concern rids the boy's mind, and as more seconds passed of him searching and searching to no avail, he felt himself slipping into lunacy.

"No... no, no, no, no. Lily!" Arthur shouts again as if his repeated callings would bring the girl back from wherever she had disappeared into.

And then Arthur stops, and his eyes turn towards the Wallowing Woods, past the fences that border it.

If what Peter had said is true, then there's only one place to find her.

Hanging onto his last strand of sanity, Arthur turns, ready to run into the woods to search for Lily only to suddenly be stopped by a pair of arms holding him back.

"Arthur, stop!"

"Let me go! I need to find her!" Arthur shouts desperately, trying to fight against the person's hold on him.

"That's the Wallowing Woods! If you go in there, you might never come out!" The person's voice is laced with concern, and yet he still seemed to be forcing himself to do the right thing.
