"Lucy! There you are! I've been looking all over for you!" Lily shouted as she finally approached Lucy, ignoring Arthur as she does do. The boy seems dumbfounded by the action, but he eventually just shakes it off as he watches Lily quietly. Beside him, Sam seems amused by the "interaction" between the two childhood friends.

"Why aren't you in the kitchen helping out, huh? You're a daughter of the queen so you should definitely get yourself involved in the preparations! What are you doing out here frolicking?"

"Sorry, sorry. I got curious," Lucy responds with a nervous smile on her face, shaking her palms infront of her before she pointed a thumb at Arthur. "I wanted to know what the new human is like... Some fairies were even saying you know him?"

Lily's eyes perk up at her words, but a second later, she turns to Arthur only to see him flinch as she catches him staring at her. The boy proceeds to look away awkwardly as he stammers.

"I-I– Well– Uhm–"

"He's just a boy who got lucky and became king without any royal history in my village." With a blunt reply, Lily turns away from Arthur, and the boy's eyes widen before he looks at her with regretful eyes.

"So she must hate me this much, huh?"

"Oh? So then what was that thing the fairies were saying about a boy who tried to go after you when–"

"Alright, Lucy! Didn't I say you should come and help? I didn't come here to join your chit-chat in the first place, you know!" Lily suddenly exclaims as she pushes Lucy out of the scene, leaving the boy and the fairy with each other once again.

Sam could barely hold back his laughter as he noticed Lily's childish attempts at taking her revenge on her childhood friend. She clearly seemed to be failing, but apparently, the same can't be said for Arthur who was feeling rather hurt. Sam quickly held his laughter back completely when he saw the frown on the human boy's face. "So..."

"By the way, did Lily just say that Lucy is a daughter of the queen?" Arthur suddenly asks, and his words cause Sam to be surprised and quickly become defensive.

"Woah, there! Why are you asking that?" A hint of suspicion can be heard in the fairy boy's voice.

Arthur senses it, eventually, and he goes on to state his point. "It's just... You and Lucy look alike, so I'm guessing you must be her brother... So are you a royal among the fairies, too?"

Sam blinks, his emotions a mixture of surprise and confusion. But eventually, he smiles and proceeds to repeat his question from a while ago. But with no malice this time. "Why do you ask?"

Arthur shakes his head before he looks down. "Oh, it's nothing really. I just find it surprising that you and your sister would be so involved with your people and all... Not to mention how so friendly you two are with your people."

"Why? Is it not like that where you come from?" This time, Sam is the one who had become curious.

And Arthur responds by slowly shaking his head. "The people usually feel as if they are obligated to fear the royals. It had been like that for a long time."

"Oh..." Sam seems taken aback, but a few seconds later, he eventually smiles and places an encouraging pat on the boy's shoulder. "Anyway, I heard that you've actually become king of your own kingdom. So I reckon things have actually been better since the beginning of your reign?"

"Well... I try," Arthur responds, feeling a bit flustered by the sudden question.

But Sam receives it well with a smile. "Anyway! Since we're both out here now, I assume you'd like a tour of the place. Can you walk far?"
