A Hero's Return

Chapter 8

Hey everyone I am sorry that I have not been getting the chapters out consistently the last few times but I have been busy with shit with school and this that and the other, but as an apology here is the next installation of "A Hero's Return" I hope you enjoy!

"Y-y-ou l-loo-k ama-zing..."  Midoriya said while blushing.
"Well I think t-that y-y-ou look good as well Izuku!" Momo replied. Midoriya held his hand out for Momo to take, which she gladly took.

"Shall we?"
"We shall!"

They said their goodbyes and made their way to the place of the friendly hangout (We all know it's a date...). As they were walking towards their destination. Momo kept taking glances at Midoriya, really soaking his image in. 'I didn't expect him to grow up so quick through these last few months but why did he leave? I guess I will figure it out when we talk' Momo thought to herself. She was so deep on thought that she didn't notice Midoriya waving his hand in front of her face.

"Hey Momo you there?"
"Huh? Oh yeah...sorry about that Izuku I was just thinking about something" Momo said frantically.
"What were you thinking about?" Midoriya wondered.
"Well I was just thinking....well about you." Momo replied.
Midoriya just smiled and wrapped his arm around her shoulder, much to Momo's enjoyment
They made their way to the restaurant.

(Time skip after the dinner...)

Then after paying for their dinner, the two were trying to figure out what to do before they head to the dorms. Then a thought came to Midoriya's mind.
He turned to Momo, "Hey I got somewhere I want to show you...do you trust me?"
All Momo did was nod her head yes.

Knowing this, Izuku picked Momo up bridal style and activated OFA Full Cowling and leaped toward the place where his journey started. He landed before the stairs to go down onto the beach. He looked at the girl in his arms and her eyes were swirling. He chuckled and waved his hands in the front of her. He then set her down on the bench and then sat down and untied his shoes and took his socks off and stared out at the sea thinking about the last few months since he left. Left everyone... including Momo.
He stood up and heard movement from his right and saw that Momo had just taken her shoes off and was standing close to him. He held his hand out to hers and walked along the beach, with the feeling of the sand between their toes. Momo suddenly stopped  and turned to face Midoriya. He was too busy gazing into her eyes that he didn't hear her ask him something. He snapped back to reality.

"Izuku? Are you ok?" Momo said concerned. Midoriya slightly panicked, "Huh? Yeah I am fine...were you saying something to me? I kinda zoned out there for a second."
Momo cleared her throat and looked his deep in the eyes and asked... "Why didn't you tell us that your father was All Might?"
Midoriya sighed and answered her back, "I didn't want to be treated differently like I was when I was a kid." He was running the back of his neck.
"We wouldn't have treated you any different than we do n- what do you mean treated you differently?" Momo asked. Midoriya just looked away before answering her.
"Well if I am going to be honest, I didn't want to be treated differently. Plus it was to keep it a secret but that didn't last long..." He then turned toward the beach where he and All Might would have their father/son bonding time while Inko was out of town.

"How did the League find out that you were All Might's son?" Momo asked. Midoriya knew the answer, he didn't want to say a word...but he has to.

"Izuku?"

Midoriya started tearing up and then he started to speak... "When I left 3 months ago after the League infiltrated U.A... I knew that they found out that I was All Might's son... through...m-m-my m-m-mom." As soon as the tears started to fall there was nothing to stop them from falling. "And w-w-when I g-g-got h-ome...I-I-I saw h-her b-b-b..." He burst into tears as he couldn't even finish the sentence. Momo then realized what he was trying to say and then she too was also crying. She then turned to him and wrapped him into a hug so tight that no memories could get to him. Midoriya sighed, "I had to leave...I hated every second that I was gone. I didn't want you guys to come and get hurt or worse..." He mumbled the last part that Momo did not catch.

Momo sniffed. "W-hat w-w-as that?" Midoriya slowly breathed in and then out before saying " I h-h-had said that I d-d-didn't want t-t-to lose you either" Momo burst into tears and hugging him even harder and lightly punching his chest. "Y-y-ou i-d-iot!" For this part she looked up to him."Do you know what you did to me?! What you did to everyone??? When I got the letter from you..I didn't know if I ever would get to see you again...and get to say the three words that I have always had wanted to say to you..." Midoriya gasped at what she had just said. He needed to think of the words that needed to be said. He looked her in the eyes and said "But every second of every single day....I had always thought of you. You kept me going. You always have." He sighs "Momo, I know that you and I have only been on one date but I want to continue this with you so I ask will you be my gir-"

Well Izuku did not expect for things to pick up this quickly...then again he didn't expect for Momo Yaoyorozu to be kissing him. She then broke the kiss and exclaimed...

"YES!"

Well here is the next chapter of this story and I'm thinking that the next part will be the end of the story. And I had posted earlier today a info chapter for a new story so. And I want to thank every single one of you that have had read this story...you guys don't know how much it is to me. I did not expect for this story to be this successful at all but here we are 3.1k reads and going!
