All I could hear in the distance were the roars of dragons, the bangs of trees faling, and the frightens sounds of horses. I could smell smoke from miles away, and the smell of the trees and the ocean that were surrounding me. Quite a strange mix of animals surrounded me also.
Another roar, and the cling of two metal dragons coming to search for me in the Uva forest. As their footsteps grew closer, I crawled away faster. I heard bits and pieces of the conversation that they were having.
"We.....farther.....go north...ill go...wait I....smell a hatchling." A very deep voice came from my left. I scurried farther back, but I bumped into a tree. I started to look around for a better place to hide, but came up short.
If only I knew the size of these two dragons...then I could hide in a tree so they won't see me... I thought long and hard, as hard as my one year old brain would let me. Suddenly a thought struck me. I could go through a mud patch. That should cover up my scent so that i can hide better.
Just as i thought about running toward the two adult dragons a voice above me spoke softly and calmly.
"Look at this poor little hatchling. It would be a shame if i called over my two guards to come and get rid of you." I turned around, and looked upward, frightened about the fact that I would be leaving the one and only home i have known.
Above me, a dark green dragon was hovering above me. Horns all over her face, pitch black eyes, and a very visible cut, one that looked like the letter K. Then, it struck me. I was right in front of Kia, the forest dragon. I started to run, but it was useless. I felt a sudden pain in my left wing, and on my back.
"Kenny?!" Then, darkness.
