Just as I'm about to sit down for dinner with the Moretti's at my family home I hear the doorbell ring. who could that be? Everyone's here already. I wonder who it is? As I walk towards the door I notice a scheming look on both mama and mama Moretti's faces. I ignore it and head to the door to open it. As I open the door the last person I want to see is standing in front of me. Giovanni Morretti. I immediately slam the door in his face and turn around to my mother standing there with "the look" on her face.
"I did not raise you to be so rude Mi Hija! Now open that door and let him in. I'm sure everyone has missed him."
I reluctantly turned around and opened the door wondering how the hell I was gonna get through this dinner.

Scarlett Diaz is a 27-year-old introverted best-selling author. She's kind and sweet but also sarcastic with one hell of an attitude if you get on her bad side. She grew up in a loving family of 2 sisters, 3 brothers, and loving parents. But that's not all, she also grew up with the Moretti family. And while she loved most of the family, Giovanni Moretti was not one of those people. Gio was her enemy ever since she was little, and she swore she would never fall for an idiot like him. But times have changed and it's been 10 years of avoiding and constant feuding.
Giovanni Moretti or Gio is a 28-year-old Italian billionaire that moved to Italy soon after he graduated college to start his business. He's been gone for 10 years working abroad, and now he's back in New York to open up his first branch in the United States. And of course to see his family and more importantly his "enemy". Though that's definitely not what he would call her.
Gio may have been gone for a while but now that he's back he has one thing in mind; getting his girl. And when he gets an email about his 10-year high school reunion he knows it's the perfect opportunity. It'll take a lot of convincing but he won't give up. Scarlett was his and he wouldn't let her go no matter how much she tried to deny the attraction between them. Will their bullheadedness drive them apart? Or will they discover that there really is a thin line between love and hate?
