One week later, Tyler began to adapt to the new changes that were made to his home, that being the newest member of his life; Eddard, or known as Ned. He also was very protective of Josh and never left home without him, or left him alone at any point; accept with Jenna.

On a breezy afternoon, Jenna called Tyler and invited him to come have lunch with her after she got off work. They met at a local beach park outside of Fairport.

"God, it's so nice to have an afternoon off." Jenna said. "I'm so glad you were able to come out to lunch with me."

"Well, Mondays are usually pretty light." Tyler said.

Jenna smiled to him; but was confused.

"Tyler, it's Thursday."

The boy corrected himself. He couldn't believe he forgot what day it was.

"Right, well, I'm just saying that Mondays work too, lunch-wise."

She smiled to him, and they both banged their cups of tea together.

Before Tyler could say something else, a man approached their table.

"Jenna?"

She immediately recognized him.

"Oh, my God, Nick!"

The two shared a hug while Tyler watched; awkwardly.

"I thought it was you!" Nick said.

"It definitely was!" Jenna replied.

She went over and introduced him to Tyler.

"Nick, this is my neighbor and friend, Tyler Joseph."

They shook hands.

"Nice to meet you." Tyler said.

"I profiled Nick for a local "Hero of the Week" segment on 5:00 news." Jenna told him. "He spent a whole year in Africa building houses for the poor!"

"Solar-powered, of course." Nick added. "They each have the carbon footprint of a tiny African baby. And, I made them shoes."

Tyler nodded.

"Nice."

"Nick is an amazing person." Jenna said.

"Hey, it's all about the kids, who have shoes now."

Tyler nodded again.

"Wow. You're like the great Oprah, aren't you?"

"Actually, I think of myself as post-racial."

"Oh, cool."

"So, what do you do, Tyler?" Nick asked.

The boy began to think.

"Oh. Well, it's Thursday, so, uh..."

"Tyler used to be a very powerful lawyer, but now he's taking some time off." Jenna said.
