Chapter 1 - This Isn't A Joke

Right, let's begin and see if they can make it somewhere safe and more importantly, not die.

In a school somewhere in Japan, a boy is currently leaning against a railing of a flight of stairs. He was looking out as he was thinking. Class was happening but he wasn't bothered.

Suddenly he heard a voice call his name.

"Out of class again Takashi? You can't expect to do much with your life if you're just going to ignore your studies." It was a girls voice.

"Hmm? Oh, it's just you. What do you want Takagi?" Takashi wasn't bothered with anyone's shit now.

Takagi went on about how depressing he looked wasting his time doing literally nothing. He wasn't listening a whole lot.

"Honestly I find you here literally every day. Do you even do anything productive?"

Takashi didn't bother with her question.

(Probably not the actual conversation but I'll do things this way.)

"I mean Brian wastes his time with dumb videogames, but at least he still does work." Takagi said referring to their Irish transfer friend. Brian transferred here about a year and a half ago. Takagi finds him annoying at times, but she supposes he can't be all bad.

Takashi knows him too. He did help him get over Rei. Now he's not too bothered by it. There are other tits- I mean fish out there.

"And where's he right now?" Takashi asked curiously.

That's a good question. I have an answer.

Brian was in class. He was talking to his buddy Hirano. Hirano wasn't exactly well respected in the school, but Brian could give less of a shit.

They were given the class to study and they're testing eachother, with some conversation in between.

"Ah so you've done your research this time around huh?" Hirano said looking at him.

"Yeah, I did."

They were refering to the current conversation. Brian was talking about the KSG in Black Ops 2. He actually did his research on the weapon solely because of mild curiosity. He didn't know a huge amount on guns and all that.

They then look to the seat next to Brian. Takagi usually sits there and I guess today she's busy. Oh well, can't annoy her now.

Brian loves annoying people. He does that better than anyone.

Just then Brian stood up putting his earphones in.

"Where are you going?" Hirano asked.

"Haves a mighty need to piss." Brian said honestly and left the classroom. They were told they could if they needed to.

Brian went to do his thing which meant he needed to go a floor down. This school was huge. On his way back he stopped and stayed for a second to think a little bit. Just about his random stuff.

Back to Takagi who is still talking to Takashi.

"He's probably thinking about his dumb zombie shooter games or some crap. Why should I care?" Takagi then went to go back to her classroom. "It's not like I'd be thinking about him every day."

"Just do whatever you want, don't complain to me about it when you can't get anywhere after school." Takagi then left.

She may have lied a little, she may sort of care where Brian is. What? He's annoying, but she never said she didn't consider him a friend.
