Sadly, she chooses to reject him once more.

He expresses his dissatisfaction through his words.

Upon telling him, she responds with a statement that should put his mind at ease.

Baffled by the idea, he asks.

Coincidentally, they both check their watches and are astonished to see that only one minute remains of their conversation.

❝Uh, Jake, I have to go now. About the cake u said, Just eat it. Tasting is better than looking.❞

As she tells him the answer to his first question, she smiles wryly and chuckles.

❝Wow Soohyeon, I didn't expect you would remember that❞

He joins in her laughter, genuinely amused that she recalls his question.

❝Yeah see you Soohyeon, Once I get my phone back, I'll message you,❞

He says.

❝Yeah, I will message you back... Oh and Jake...❞

During one of the brief moments of silence, Soohyeon cracks a grin.
