POV: The reader is devasted at their friends death during the killing game.

You where in shock.
Your best friend had decided to murder somebody, despite making a promise to you that you'd escape together.

Your heart was filled with betrayal as you walked over to them.

“Why...you promised.” You said as you grabbed on to their jacket.

“Something came over me.. I'm sorry.” They averted their eyes to anyone else except you.

“Alright, alright! Let's move on with the voting and execution already!!”

But you couldn't bring yourself to vote for them, no matter what. So you just didn't touch the voting tablet.

You were terrified as the execution started, immediately your legs gave out on you, and you broke down on the floor, sobbing.

They had left you their jacket, putting it around you before the execution started.

🍎Kiyotaka Ishimaru🍎

🍎 ~ He just kinda stares at you for a bit before walking towards you.
🍎 ~ He feels bad, seeing how heartbroken you are because of this.
🍎 ~ He's not gonna let you see a thing about the execution.
🍎 ~ When the execution is over, you're absolutely crushed. Your body is trembling, with tears still streaming down your face.
🍎 ~ It felt like everyone was staring at you, out of pity or maybe out of genuine care, but you where too exhausted to know which.
🍎 ~ You could barely stand up, nor did you want too.
🍎 ~ You can't get any words out so you just lean forward to where you're on his shoulder.
🍎 ~ Everything went black for you a little bit after that.
🍎 ~ ...But when you woke up, it was easy to tell you weren't in your room. You didn't keep it this nice.
🍎 ~ Kiyotaka was sitting next to you, purely just staring at the wall.
🍎 ~ So you just went over to him, putting your head on his shoulder.
🍎 ~ No talking what-so-ever, it made it a calming moment.
🍎 ~ From then on forward though he'd start checking on you more often whenever he felt like something was up.

If they were your lover/ex-lover now:

🍎 ~ Even more upset for you. But is it his place to try and comfort you...or not?
🍎 ~ Genuinely doesn't know if he should touch you in any way, trying to be affectionate. Would he make things worse?
🍎 ~ Definitely doesn't let you be alone that often after this. Makes sure you're eating and taking care of yourself.
🍎 ~ When you're tired though, sure your rest your head on his shoulder.
🍎 ~ It made you feel better. Just knowing someone was there for you was enough to help you keep going.

🍒 ~ She's instantly by your side, covering your ears with the sleeves of her kimono.
🍒 ~ Her sweet pink eyes gazing into yours, without even talking, she would be able to reassure you that everything would be okay.
🍒 ~ She wouldn't care if people start giving strange looks, she wants to put her ultimate to use especially since she loves you and doesn't want you to be in pain, mentally or physically.
🍒 ~ If you're too tired to move after the execution, she's perfectly fine with letting you rest on her shoulder to help you walk, or if you want her to pick you up she's fine with that too. <3
🍒 ~ She won't leave your side, even if it means sacrificing her well-being for you.
🍒 ~ She'd adore if you were to ask her to be affectionate to you while you're not at your best, because she loves showering you in affection. <3

If they were your lover/ex-lover now:

🍒 ~ Feels absolutely horrible. Still covering your face with the sleeves of her kimono though to make sure you don't see anything.
🍒 ~ It'd be a little awkward if people started staring, she didn't really know if it was right to do this or not.
🍒 ~ Was it really okay for her to be affectionate right after the loss of your lover? Was she making things worse?
🍒 ~ Even while she was concerned, she wouldn't show you these emotions of hers, not right now, at least.
🍒 ~ You always came first in her eyes.
🍒 ~ She'd love if you were to just lay your head on her lap. She's absolutely hopeless when it comes to love. <3
