You hated this game. Every single thing about it.

Taking people away from you one by one, but now Mondo?

You weren't nearly as close to him as Kiyotaka was, but yesterday they had become really close, even though a few days ago they seemed like they wanted to murder each other.

You would always stand up for the both of them though. You where always raised to protect people, no matter if they can defend themselves or not.

How you seemed to meet them, though, wasn't by introductions.

A few days ago..

'Great, just great.' You hadn't even been here this long, and Owada was already seemingly trying to pick fights.

He had pushed Kiyotaka on to the floor, letting his anger get the best of him.

“Owada, stop. We're in a killing game, do you really think now's the time to pick a fight?” You walked closer to them, standing in between the two of them.

That was probably one of the worst mistakes you had made. He reacted badly, to your surprise, and everything happened so suddenly.

But in an instant, you where on the ground as well.

“You-!”

You wanted to respond so badly with anger, but couldn't.

“Stop being an ass. This is hard on all of us, not just you.” You said, getting back up.

You put your hand out to Ishimaru, who had been doing nothing besides looking at your interactions.

He took your hand, as you were able to pull him up back to his feet instantly.

There was something about them that weirded you out at first. It annoyed you that it seemed like they were constantly arguing with each other, and you always had to be the one to stop it.

But one day, they were all buddy-buddy and sh!t, it was creeping you out. But why was it slightly annoying you?

So you just sat at an empty table, completely alone as you just kept glancing at them.

You felt as if you lost your purpose. Who where you supposed to protect now? It was your duty wasn't it?

So for multiple days, you had just ignored and stayed away from the two of them.

Until today.

You where pissed. Not at Mondo, but that stupid bear that made every single execution go on, the guts that he had to allow this to go on.

So you just gave the Bear dirty looks that seemed to go unnoticed.

...

You watched as Ishimaru pleaded to the Bear, Mondo just looking at the ground in supposed shame.

You felt sad for him, putting a hand on his shoulder.

“Nothing you do is gonna make Mondo not get executed. Sucks though huh..” You watched as he was already semi-broken down in tears.

You watched as Monokuma hit the button, indicating that it was execution time.

You had averted your attention, you didn't want to watch. No, you couldn't. Nothing would allow you to.

But suddenly, something caught your attention. You had stood next to Ishimaru, and now in the corner of your eye you could see him huddled onto the floor, sobbing.

You were by his side in an instant, kneeling down in front of him and putting your hand on his shoulder in an attempt to make him feel even a little bit okay.

You couldn't look at anything but him. You were filled with nothing but pain for him. You had never had any friends you where really close to, so you couldn't begin to imagine the pain.

It made you feel semi-okay though, he at least trusted you enough to allow you to touch him without scolding you about it.

He had trusted you enough at least to let you stay in his room after you had expressed your concern for his well-being.

Sure, it was quiet and kinda depressing 24/7, but as long as you could make sure he was partially okay each day, then you were okay.

You were so proud of him. It had been weeks since the execution, and you were escaping with him by your side now.

You had made a promise to escape with him, and you were so happy that you could fulfill your promise to him.

Some days still weren't the easiest..but having escaped now, you were hanging out pretty much 24/7 it seemed.
