"If you think i wont drop everything to come with you-"

"Shut up y/n! Stop it" Draco yelled finally looking at you

His teary eyes met your teary eyes and you both sniffed at the same time

He sat next to you on the bed and he laid his head on your shoulder

"I love you. I love you so much but I'm not letting you change your whole life plan to just come with me"

"But its not-"

"Stop trying to argue. Youre going to iceland to finish your studies and im going ireland. I dont want you to change everything last minute because we both want different things"

"All i want is you" you cried

You quickly turned to him
"I dont have to break up. We can do long distance. We can-"

He kissed you cutting you off, this kiss wasnt like the others. you could feel his sadness

"I dont want to split up either but i want you to experience everything without me. Even love"

"Stop i dont want to love anyone else"

"You will. I dont know how long itll be before we see eachother again. Maybe never again"

"Stop dont say that"

"I want you to keep going without me. I dont care if we pick up where we left off or stay friends. Youll always be my first love"

"We dont have to breakup we dont have to!" You cried hard as he held you

You sobbed for what felt like hours

"My flight leaves in the morning"

"You werent supposed to leave until next week!"

"If I stayed longer ibwouldnt be able to let you go"

"I dont want you to let me go "

He let out a sigh "i have to"

That morning you woke up in each other's arms 

he kissed your head

He wanted to kiss your lips but he couldnt

He got up "i have to go"

Your eyes puffy and red still had years to cry

"Please"

That single word hurt was like a knife thrown at him.

He didnt want you to change your whole life plan for it to fit into his

He wanted you to love someone else like you loved him. He knew it wasnt possible to love someone more. But to the same extent

You sobbed getting up and kissing him on the lips despite his protests

He kissed you back for as long as you both could hold.

"I love you" you whimpered as he backed out the door slowly keeping his eyes on you, engraving you into his memory
