Two or three weeks flew by since the old Casita crumbled, and—with the help of the townspeople—Casita was rebuilt, even if it was no longer magical. Mirabel and Alma had finally made up and everyone had accepted Bruno back into the family. All that was needed was a doorknob for their new home.

"We see how bright you burn," the Madrigals sung as Mirabel walked between them.

"We see how brave you've been." Mirabel looked over at Luisa and Isabela.

     "Now, see yourself in turn."

"You're the real gift, kid, let us in" Bruno smiled at Mirabel.

"Open your eyes. Abre los ojos. What do you see?" Alma told her granddaughter as she handed her the new golden doorknob. It had the letter M—for Mirabel—engraved on it.

"I see me. All of me." Mirabel's eyes filled with tears.

However, despite the joy around, Camilo was not as happy as the rest of his family. He was still worried that his mariposa would never wake up. That thought terrified him, so he tried to bury it away.

But he could no longer avoid it.

"Don't mind me, I'll get going now. I'm not gonna play the party-pooper, not my style." Camilo explained as he turned his back to leave.

"That will not be necessary, ami." A familiar voice said in the distance.

Everyone turned to the direction of the female's voice. And as Camilo saw who it was, he was too afraid to move—afraid that he was only seeing an illusion. The girl was using a crutch to walk; her dark auburn hair bounced up and down with each step. Her green eyes sparkled and resembled fireflies. And despite the bruises and healed scars on her face, she was beyond beautiful.

"Long time no see, everyone." It was Giselle. "I believe I have missed some impo-"

Before she could finish her sentence, Camilo had leaped in her arms and knocked the crutch out of her grasp, causing Giselle to struggle in maintaining her balance. The brunette boy hid his face in Giselle's shoulder. The rest of the Madrigals did not speak, but all felt a form of relief that their mariposa had come back to them.

"Why did it take you so long to wake up?" Camilo said between held-back sobs. "I was so afraid that one morning I might wake up and find you dead!"

Giselle's eyes went wide in shock. She didn't know how long she was out for, but judging from Camilo's words it must've been a long time. She wrapped her arms around the brunette in an attempt to comfort him.

"I wouldn't dare leave you like this. You're too precious to me for that."

"Good, you'd better not. " The brunette said, his voice muffled by his sleeve. Eventually, Camilo's sniffles died out and he slowly let Giselle go. Then, he made way for Alma as she stepped closer to Giselle, after giving the girl her fallen crutch.
