{A new start and a new feeling}

This was it, you've made it to Liyue after your two nearly three day journey straight from Mondstat. Of course your departure caused some teary-eyed goodbyes and soft words of luck and love but you persevered, confident that you will achieve what you've set out to do, what is that plan? To meet Rex Lapis and your fellow half adepti, but to also experience the breath taking scenery and culture the City of contracts has to offer.

You make your way down the path to the front gate after making your way over the hill. The very second you saw the city your breath was taken and you stood in awe of the great stone city, you arrived at night, which was better in your opinion as all the lanterns and torches that light the streets looked like stars had rained from celestia and took up residence in the City of contracts setting the whole place in light, this view alone made the entire trip worth it.

After getting your breath back you made your way down to the city where you could spot the vigilant millelith standing guard. After you passed through the gates you saw a girl that looks no younger than 19 standing there looking at a sign, but as she turned around you questioned whether it was the city that was beautiful, or this resident.

With hair as white as the fluffy clouds and eyes of the most pure red rubies, she was wearing simple clothes but that didn't stop her beauty from shining.

she looked around 19-20, even for her young age the determination in her eyes was unmistakable.

It was that day, that moment that you fell in love for the first time.

You plucked up the courage to walk up to her, feeling warm even though the chilly air was breezing about.

"Hello there!" You greeted the girl, you h/c swaying gracefully behind you, "I'm Y/n, i just arrived and was wondering if someone could give me a tour."

God im stupid, who would give someone a tour at this ungodly hour? You mentally face- palmed as you waited rejection, you've made your first encounter with the most beautiful girl you've ever laid eyes upon so very awkward.

"Sure, follow me." she said already walking.

It took you a while to comprehend what she has just said, she had agreed?? Maybe the archons had favoured you today, you quickly rushed to her side.

"Ah! Thank you, I wasn't expecting you to actually agree" You blushed out of embarrassment aswell as how stunning her silk like hair shone under the moonlight.
"Its no problem, I was about to head home anyways." She smiled at you as she continued to show where everything is. "Over here is the Wanmin restaurant, some of the best food in Liyue, and up there is the adventures' guild where Katherine resides." The lady walked swiftly as she showed all the buildings, she seemed to really know this place, well of of course, she lives here, it would be odd if she didn't.

We finished up the tour at about 12am, I walked to where I assumed I lived with the lady in tow,
"Ya' know, I never got your name, feel like I should properly thank my tour guide," I was mid way through unlocking the door. "Ningguang, thats my name." She replied, standing near the door. "Ah a beautiful name for a beautiful woman," i bent down and kissed her hand, "do you want to meet at the Wanmin restaurant tomorrow?" I asked, the poor lady couldn't even reply she was all a fluster, "u-uh yeah...sure, s-see you tomorrow" she splurged out skittering away.

I entered my house totally baffled on where I got the confidence but hey, they do say you miss 100% of the shots you don't take and I'm gonna take my shot.

I start to unpack my little possessions, I tried to travel light so I don't have to much hassle when I get here, plus I had mora (unlike zhongli-) so if I really needed stuff I could always purchase some.
