~Y/N POV~

"Favourite colour? Mines purple."

"White. Favourite food? I love beef. Anything with beef and I'll eat it." Hanuel

"Strawberry ice cream. Favourite animal. I think baby chicks are cute!"

"Ha! Okay then. Baby elephants are cute. I adopted one once when I was nine. Its the one thing my father let me send money too for a good cause." Hanuel

"Awe. Did it have a name?"

I asked him now completely going off topic from our 'getting to know each other game'.

"Yeah. Her name was tilly and she was adorable. I had her picture pinned on my bedroom wall next to my bed." Hanuel

Laughing at the image I put in my head. I drank some water before eyeing him still sitting next to me. It's next day down. Day number nine. And Hanuel is still sitting beside me. I did fall asleep at one point while we were talking but when I woke up I was using his lap as a pillow. But he didn't seem to mind he was asleep sitting upright against the wall.

"What's so funny?" Hanuel

"Nothing. I just cant imagine a man like you so soft over things like baby elephants."

He scoffed at me as he picked up his own metal cup to raise to his lips.

"I was very soft as a child. It's just certain things in life made me change." Hanuel

I dropped my smile when my thoughts raced to his father and the things he's mentioned about him so far.

"Your Dad?"

He nods while drinking his water from his cup.

He opened his mouth to speak and that's when the door banged open for the first time in nine days. I gasped and shuffled closer to Hanuels side. He remained still and didn't move apart from place his tray to the side of him and watched the two guards march into the room.

It's the same two as the last time and they're both of the same height roughly but one is possibly a little more taller than the other. The slightly taller of the two aimed his sights on me but stood directly in front of Hanuel.

"You. Lex needs to speak to you."

I sqeaked and pressed more into Hanuel as if he could protect me some how and the second guard with his blank expression reached for me but his hand was slapped away by Hanuel.

"Don't touch her!" Hanuel

The guard that had his hand slapped glared towards Hanuel but reached for me again. Hanuel made movements towards him but he taller guard grabbed Hanuel twisted his body in front of him and placed him in a chock hold so fast that I was picked up and tossed over the shoulder of the second guard.

Hanuel and I locked eyes on my way out and I thumped my fists into the guards back and kicked my legs. Hanuel tossed against the choke hold, kicking his legs and flailing his body around to attempt to get out of it.

"BRING HER B-BACK!!" Hanuel

Rounding the corner and exiting the cell I slammed my fists into the guards back repeatedly. Even if it didn't faze him. He kept walking down the long corridor which was dull grey in colour but there were windows, small square windows.

The man stopped at the end and I heard a swipe of a card before a beep and he continued to walk again. The flooring changed from grey concrete to wooden flooring and there was more warmth that washed over my body. Even the air smelled cleaner and lighter than that cell.
