Years ago, a corrupt god nicknamed Chaos the Destroyer brought havoc and death to the universe. One day, a warrior god named Hikari Taiyōshin took a stand against him.
Chaos unleashed a beast he had corrupted on his opponent, they were equally matched so the battle took even longer. Hikari used his light power to purify the beast and turned him against Chaos.
The battle was fearsome but in the end, Hikari and the beast pulled together and defeated Chaos. But Chaos got back up and started fighting them again. He continued to do this, until Hikari found a way to stop Chaos once and for all. Hikari used his power to seal Chaos in a stone so the universe would never have to face his wrath ever again.
But the trouble wasn't over for Hikari, he couldn't last much longer in that form, so he incarnated himself as a mortal, hoping that one day he could return to his former self to continue to cleanse the universe from the horrible villains that threatened it.
