Many years later, an hedgehog is born, given the name Zeo.
When he was about a week old, his parents were murdered by a mysterious being covered in a black cloak. The hedgehog walked up to Zeo but an old man stopped him.
"Hey you, what do you think you're doing?" The old man said, holding himself up with a bamboo stick. The old man was a squirrel with a black belt around his waist and a straw hat on his head.
"Shut up grandpa, now run and I will only hurt you," the mysterious man replied.
"Now I know I'm old but I still have some kick in me," the old man dashed at the cloaked figure an gave him a left hook to the face.
The figure backed up a couple of feet," Hmph, I'll finish you off later." The man disappeared. The old man picked up the baby and left the area. The old man brought the baby to a dojo on a floating island.
The old man started training Zeo and other mobian children, some orphaned just like Zeo, some not. All those children had a connection to the man in some way. The old man was Zeo's father's sensei, he went by the alias: Sensei Squirrel.
