The soldiers marched through the deep snow, their leg's sore from walking but they kept following Hajime. Y/n held Pax's lead as he pulled the cart when suddenly a blast came from the cart and a cannon shot into the sky. Everyone gasped and turned to Y/n who was looking in the wagon to see Noya, pointing at the cricket. She glared at them, before snapping around when she heard hooves coming towards her.

"What happened?" Hajime snapped.

"Uh-"

"You just gave away our position! Now we're-" Hajime cried out when an arrow pierced his shoulder. He fell to the ground with a painful grunt and suddenly thousands flew down from one of the mountains. Hajime pulled the arrow out of him and yelled out. "Get out of range!"

Everyone screamed as they tried to find cover, Pax was reading back in fear as Y/n tried to calm him down, she pulled his head and he tried to pull back but she made him move. Fire arrows came down next and one of them hit the wagon full of cannons. The cart caught on fire as Y/n and Pax turned with fear.

"Save the cannons!" Hajime yelled, everyone quickly started to grab the cannons from the fire.

"Come on!"

"Empty it!"

"Empty it!"

"Pax!" Y/n cried as he reared back again and she lost the lead. She grabbed her sword and cut him off the wagon, she grabbed his mane, pulled herself on, and took off to where the others were. But the wagon exploded sending Pax and Y/n into the snow.

"Hey! Oh, sure. Save the horse." Noya rolled his eyes as he landed in the snow next to her. She grabbed the dragon and cricket and ran towards the others, Pax followed after.

"Fire!" She heard Hajime's order and saw the cannon fire into the sky, hitting the archers on the mountain. She quickly grabbed one and set it up next to her three friends. "Fire!"

Y/n lit the cannon with some flint and covered her ears as it shot into the sky. They shot into the air and flew into the mountain. All went silent.

"Hold the last cannon," Hajime ordered as Kentaro went to lit it. The smoke swirled around above the snow when Y/n saw a large figure on a small horse and thousands of others rode up to him. They all felt the fear spike inside of them. "Prepare to fight. If we die, we die with honor."

The small group of soldiers pulled out their swords, as Y/n pulled out hers Shan-Yu took off down the hill. The enemies let out battle cries as they flung around their weapons.

"Kentaro, aim the cannon at Shan-Yu," Hajime said. Kentaro positioned the cannon straight at the man. Y/n looked down at her sword ready to fight when the reflection of the mountain. She looked up with an idea and she quickly sheathed her sword and grabbed the cannon, taking off towards the enemy.

"Hey!"

"B/n! Come back!" Hajime yelled but she didn't turn back. "B/n!"

Pax whinnied as he watch his rider go into danger he tried to take off after her, but Toru quickly grabbed his reigns.

"Stop!"

Y/n stuck the cannon into the snow and aimed it towards the peak of the mountain. Noya sat on her shoulder as Shan Yu got closer.

"All right. You might want to light that right about now." Noya hurriedly said, Y/n quickly searched for her flint when she accidentally dropped it in the snow.

"Come on! We gotta help!" Kentaro yelled to the other two who held their swords. The three let out battle cries and took off.

As Shan Yu got closer to Y/n, she grabbed Noya and tickled his stomach. He let out a laugh, fire flying out his mouth and lighting the cannon. Noya jumped onto the cannon and glared at the girl, but he was shot into the sky.
