Ianna pov:

"Be quiet or I will show how angry you make me!" Jeremy tells me as we are walking out of his job. Jeremy works for this big-shot company called "Cloudbank." His job is to sniff through people's financial records to see if there is anything suspicious with the other company they are busy with, but it is actually a cover job since he is the CEO of the company. He likes to trick people because he says "the look on their faces is totally worth it," whatever that means. He got mad at me for having my dress a little bit too short, but I didn't realize he was in a business meeting; I was just trying to show him my new dress that I felt pretty in! He was furious with me, and since all his businessmen's eyes were on me and my body, he practically dragged me out of the building. His hand gripped tightly around my arm, leading me out of the room into the cold air outside. That is when it began. (Flashback ended)

My life story hasn't always been the greatest. I thought love was meant to be earned, not given; what can I say about bad habits that never end? It is kind of ironic since I write romance books. I haven't been able to experience the kind of love I read and write about; it's honestly heartbreaking, but now I need to find someone to pass my legacy on to before I die...

My family history is complicated, and even my relationship status is complicated, but my dream is to have the love I read and write about before it's too late. I just need to find someone who is willing to put up with me and love me despite my past. I am currently working on a new story called "Love Never Ends," and it's about these two couples going through struggles such as secrets, past relationships, family trauma, and the death of a family member, all while trying to fix their own relationships. It is honestly going to be a heartbreaking story, but I am already dreading writing it because it is going to be my last book before I pass. It's going to be a bittersweet ending. My publisher, Sarah, wants something by the end of April, and it's January... I got 3 months and 19 days to complete this story or else I lost my title as an author.
