Aiden POV:

I have been sitting at this library for 2 hours now, preparing for my interview with this big-shot company called Cloudbank. The name is kind of funny, but it's whatever. My father is making me do this interview, but I am completely fine as a florist, but my father thinks I am wasting my time by being one. But what he doesn't get is that his opinions mean nothing to me, just like his do. He wasn't there for me, and I will never forgive him for what he did to me or my family. My mother seems to forgive him right away but I can't.... For what he took from me. No one knows except for Luke, but he doesn't care about me, so he keeps his mouth shut. I can still see myself screaming at my father to stop because I didn't understand, don't understand, and will never understand either. I am doing this interview for my mom because I can see her struggle with the bills of the house. I do make a decent amount at the florist shop, but I need to get this job to make a little more cash. This job is willing to pay 15 dollars an hour, so I'm in, but I did hear rumors that the CEO likes to pretend to be an accountant for the company to look through everyone's financial records.
