Jermy POV:

Ianna was getting on my nerves by asking me how long we were going to take since she had work due on the same night as I was preparing myself for applicants coming in tomorrow. I'm the CEO of Cloud Bank, but she doesn't know; she thinks I just work there. She thinks I'm weak and pathetic and that my job doesn't matter. I will show her how I can be a man, so I turned to her on her phone and made a call. Her boss is a prick that gets on my nerves; he doesn't know when to quit. I should make her quit her job and have her work for me, then she can see how important this company is to me. "Ianna," I said. That caught her attention, and she quickly hung up the phone. "Yes, my love, I couldn't even look at her." She was pathetic. "I only married because her father begged me to; I never loved her." I always loved her best friend's sister, Violet Williams. She is so beautiful, and I can't help but wish Violet was standing in front of me instead of her, which boiled my blood because Ianna will never be Violet. She was looking at me with so much love that it disgusted me. then she just kept blabbing on about this and that about her job, which I could care less about, so I yelled to get some peace, "Be quiet, or I will show you how angry you make me, Ianna Lily!" I saw her tense up from my yelling, but she got quiet; she didn't even say another word. My phone dinged on my desk, and as annoyed as I was, I went to check it, and there was Violet texting me. My heart began to beat a little faster, and I felt a smile creep onto my face.

Hey Jer! I miss you and was hoping we could catch up!

-Love Violent

Without hesitating, I texted her back. My hands were sweating. What if I mess up?
