Veda's pov:
Me and my friend Cari were walking to class as she was rambling on about Yeah-yeah and how they were talking. "I cant believe you like him and piece of shit friends," I say rolling my eyes after hearing her go on about this for the past 2 days. "He's really not that bad-" She says, but quickly stoping when she see's who's walking up.
speak of the devil.
Yeah-yeah and Benny pass us. "Hey Cari," Yeah-yeah says smiling, blushing slightly. "Hey Yeah-yeah," she responds blushing. "Ugh" me and benny say in unison.
We make eye contact
"Hart," Benny says. "Rodriguez," I say back rolling my eyes.
"Im gonna go head to the bathroom to fix my hair before class," I say resting my hand on Cari's shoulder. "Okay!" She says smiling.
ugh I love her, we just get each other.
"Why do you have to fix your hair? It looks normal," Benny asks genuinely confused.
I roll my eyes "Ofc you think that," I say rolling my eyes "I mean look at your hair, you think that looks good," I say mocking him and then walking past him and walking to the bathroom.

Veda's pov:
10 Minutes later
Me and Cari were sitting in class. As I was staring at the clock Cari nudged my elbow.
I looked over at her, "How do you feel about going on a double date with me and yeah-yeah?" she says smiling brightly. I laugh lightly and say "I would love to but I dont exactly have a lover," I laugh looking back at the clock. "What if I told you I have someone that you can go with?" she says grinning. I snap my neck and look at her "who?!" I say loudly without even realizing my tone.
The front of the class and turns to us as well as the teacher. "Is there something you would like to share with the class Miss Hart?" The older woman asks. "Oh I was telling Cari that I was wondering where you got that beautiful dress from Mrs. kay," I say smiling at her nervously. "Oh well thank you dear I actually got it from that lovely shop that just opened downtown," She began's to say.
let me tell you that woman went on about where she got that dress until the bell rang, the class should really start thanking me more for wasting time.
As everyone was getting up and putting away all of their things because the bell rang Cari came up to me again.
"Well since we didnt get to finish our conversation," Cari started laughing.
"Oh right, so who is it?" I say laughing.
"Well I'm not sure because yeah-yeah said that he was just bringing one of his friends," She said.
"Oh as long as it's not one of those boys he always plays with at the sandlot then thats fine," I said nervously laughing. "Oh yeah i doubt its one of them to be honest" She says easing my nerves.
We walk out of the classroom and I see yeah-yeah and benny talking- well aruging it seemed like. Yeah-yeah scoffs and turns his head and stops talking whenever he see's me and Cari.
and then it hit me.
"Oh you've gotta be kidding me," Me and Benny both yelled looking at Yeah-yeah and Cari.
