I crept slowly down the hall to the lobby where things will finally be normal again. All these thoughts flowing through my brain; what if they don't like me anymore, what if they forgot about me, what if this...everything... happens again?
No. I thought again, they're my family they love me...right?
Okay, maybe love is a little too strong I mean I've been gone for two years. They sent me here for a reason and hopefully they won't look at me like a freak, but, as a changed person.
Every step I took made it harder for me to breath. It was as if the oxygen was disappearing as I got closer and closer to the lobby. It was then I spotted a familiar brown haired woman.
"Mom?" I said softly.
When our eyes met I stopped and just stood there. What was I supposed to do? Do I run up to her and hug her? Do I give her a wave or a hand shake?
Standing there, frozen, something happened.
One foot after another she started walking slowly towards me.
A smile crept up on her face, as she was at least one foot away from me. As she got closer her arms spread opened and lured me into a hug, squeezing me tight. My eyes widened as I did the same back.
"I missed you Nevaha," she said. "So so much."
"I missed you to mom," I replied back still hugging her.
Finally after a few minutes ,yes minutes, we let go. There were a little bit of awkward silences but we managed. We walked to the car, mom holding my bag while I was holding my suit case. We hopped in and drove off leaving all the memories of the past behind me.
Grab the popcorn people because the story is just beginning.

I nevoursly sat at the backseat of the car dreading the moment we reach my home.Staring out the window I started remembering the surroundings we were in. We're almost here I thought.
"Were almost there," my mother said with a gleeful smile.
Just thinking about coming home sounded so unreal, so imaginary. I was excited to see my old room, my old bed, my old well everything.
As images of my room clouded in my head the car then finally halted to a stop. My mom opened the door grabbing the bag with her and walked casually to the door. I for one just stayed sitting, still looking out the window.
It was until she reached the front porch when she noticed I wasn't behind her, she turned around and walked back to the car.
"Honey," she said. "Why aren't you coming in?"Nothing came out of my mouth. I wanted to go in but there was something that made me stay in the car, hidden.
"You know, its okay I know you're worried but everything's gonna be alright." She said while opening my door.
"Everyone's waiting for you, your father, your sister, even your brother." She continued. "Do you need me to carry your bag?"
"No." I replied slowly getting out of the car.
I grabbed my luggage and simultaneously arrived at the front door. My mother then opened it with the key and walked in with me following behind her.
Holding my breath I walked into the living room and saw the whole family sitting there watching TV. As we both stepped in they all stared at me with wide eyes. I looked back still holding my breath.
"Nevaha!" My younger sister, Savannah, screamed running towards me.
She jumped and forced me into a hug. I hugged her back exhaling all the air that was inside me.
She released me grabbing my hands and twirled me around.
"You're back, you're back!" She sang still twirling me.
I smiled at her and let go of her hands pulling her into another hug. This made her even more happy.
We finally let go Savannah still grinning at me.
I caught my twin brother staring at me and just look away, he got up and walked up stairs. There was a pain in my heart as he left.
"Henry go say hi to your sister." My dad angerly said to him.
He paused one stair away from the top and turned at me. He shook his head and continued up the stairs.
I looked blankly at the floor until my father walked over to me and hugged me. All of this hugging made me feel warm again like the old times.
My mother came and walked me up stairs to my room. As she opened the door I was astonished to see that everything was still the same from two years ago. Every book was placed in the same shelf, my bed was perfectly made, and my posters were still there.
"Well here you go, do you need anything? Maybe some snacks or you know ,what ever you want."
I yawned "No it's okay, can I just go to bed." I replied.
"Yea, sure whatever you'd like. Do you want me to tuck you in?"
I shook my head and she smiled and went to the door. Before she closed it she said one last thing.
"Good night, oh and one last thing welcome home Nevaha, I love you." And with that she closed the door.
My eyes nearly popped out of my face.
I then striped down my clothes and changed into my pajamas.
Slipping into my bed my mothers words still lingered in my head. Welcome home Nevaha, I love you.
I smiled as my eyes started closing it was then I heard someone whisper to me.
Nevaha, where's my hello?
My eyes sprung open.
No it isn't.
It can't be.
"Jayla?" I whispered back.
I looked around and found nothing, no one, and no Jayla.
